Another Look Over The Skinner's Shoulder
« on: February 24, 2011, 04:52:27 AM »
One thing about Nemeth paint kits - fuselage sides get mapped over different parts of a texture sheet and over several different textures and often to different scales. The lime green lines, for instance, are straight on the texture sheets - note the kinks here caused by mdl export. Or note the undersides and how the red lines wrap.

Once you have done that, you can add a bit of colour - under the alignment lines - then you can see where things are headed.

My pleasure...

and while we are looking over my shoulder, sometimes a paint can get frustrating - like the Bell 412 I am working on. The white stripes don't want to line up, so I had to go to the effort of a wireframe texture so that I could line them up.
