As long as there is no interference with Halibut Cove and I want to go sit in the terminal this will be just fine!

Well, we mentioned Halibut Cove to Alex and he said he would stay away from that area so I hope he did.

Hi guys,

Thanks for checking out the previews! Halibut Cove is untouched, although I did make adjustments to Beluga Lake's elevation since neither the default or SAK elevation matched what the new 5 meter mesh showed as the true elevation. This way AI traffic can float along happily. As long as Homer sits at the top of the scenery library it will exclude any other Beluga Lake sceneries without issue.

I'll be happy to answer any other questions you folks may have :)

Alex,

Homer looks fantastic! We haven't done anything previously for Beluga Lake that I am aware of so that's not an issue at all. I am very happy that our version of Halibut Cove now has a nice detailed rendition of PAHO and Beluga Lake as neighbors. That will help to keep the simulation community visitors to this area occupied with some of the best representations of the Kachemak Bay communities for a long time. They should mesh together nicely I believe.

Would it be okay to post in the ORBX forums with a reminder about our Halibut Cove scenery and how it will mesh perfectly alongside PAHO? I don't want to hijack your preview thread so if you think it's okay, I'll start a new separate thread for Halibut Cove on the ORBX forums.

Thanks again and I look forward to the release of PAHO. Good job.

Brad

Hi all,

Alex, that sounds great!   Just for everybody's info, Halibut Cove does include a small little Jonas Brothers outpost at Beluga Lake and a few structures on the spit as part of the story line.  I knew this and also knew that Alex would adjust the Beluga Lake elevation and probably the spit terrain/structures so I plan to make a small patch for Halibut Cove just as soon as ORBX Homer is released.  This is a very minor thing and you wouldn't even notice it unless you fly the storyline.  At the same time I will make a PAEN patch since there is a small Jonas Brothers  at PAEN which needs to be moved for those that use ORBX Kenai Municipal. This patch will release shortly after ORBX releases Homer.

This was already in my plan but just letting you all know in case you try to fly the storyline before I get a chance to make the patch.  Also just to be clear, I will make sure the user can deal with all four possible combinations:

1.  Does not use ORBX PAEN or ORBX Homer
2.  Uses ORBX PAEN but not ORBX Homer
3   Uses ORBX Homer but not ORBX PAEN
4.  Uses ORBX Homer and ORBX PAEN

Rod,
might have know you would be a step and a half ahead of the game.  Just another example of the great team RTMM has.  I didn't think Halibut Cove would be affected by the new ORBX Homer but always a concern when the shells start dropping close to your foxhole.

Sounds like they may have fixed the effects rendering issue.   That would be huge!

Sure thing, it'd be great to have a thread with reminders of all the nice RTMM offerings around Alaska.
