Altimeter Problem in P3D (and FSX)
« on: July 15, 2014, 09:49:42 AM »
Anybody ever have a problem with the altimeter on autopilot?  The VS works, you can go up or down at whatever VS you choose, but the autopilot will not "level off" at the selected altitude.  I put in the Cerenado 1900 D recently, wondering if they have something "funny" in their autopilot gauge.  Anybody else ever have a problem like this?  The problem is now with all aircraft.

Make sure you hit the "B" and "D" key during flight. That might calibrate things for you.

DEAR DOUG
to recover your gauges FOR FSX try this for FSX  https://mega.co.nz/#!x4hExaAb!uyo3L4f2uuOD3dUdooKKpSQ5jp47Bae9TSrAQ5x5U5o

just click on the .exe  and all gauges  are ok

so this application i never ever try on P3D  " warning "
but if you want i can sent you all my original gauges P3Dv2

Thank you ... good to know you kept a virgin folder ... that is a great idea!  My problem was the "B" button somehow went "null" and didn't activate the barometer setting. So I would press it, thinking it was zeroing it, but it wasn't doing anything. I reestablished the B to the the barometer and it "spun" to the correct zero and the altimeter started working.  Amazing what goes on in my computer when I'm sleeping!!! :-)
