I have completed a conversion for the first Timuquan Mission for testing.
It is more or less the same as the original FSX mission.
As I have no different categories than those provided by P3D I chose to use the Tutorials Category for this test.
What's different?
a) The scenario requires the specification of a specific aircraft. I chose to use the default Maule Paint 1.
b) Although I did not change any trigger proximity settings I think that some of them may be a bit to close for casual users. 2000 lateral feet is a bit thin giving a latitude of +/- 1000 feet to trigger but that is only quibbling.
Please try out the "Mission" or perhaps we must now call then "Training Scenarios"?
Here is the link to the zip file:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/107722691/Timuquan01.zipCopy it to your P3D Missions Tutorials folder and unzip there.
Then copy the flight plan file in the Timuquan01 tutorial folder to your P3Dv2 Files directory. The pgm does not like this not to be there unlike FSX.
Start P3D and set up a flight in PAKT with the Maule.
Once established then you can use the Load option to open the flight identified with the Tutorial.
The mission should load and after some dialogue eventually the pointer appears.
If everything seems t work out then I can put together a document explaining what I did.
