FEX meets P3D
« on: July 04, 2014, 07:04:48 PM »
Hey everyone,
What am I up to? ???  I was going through my HDD, and found my old install of Flight Environment Extreme.  So I re-installed it and updated it to the latest version (2.0.0.3).

Then I was wondering if I could point it at P3D, and next thing you know, I have red skies.  Yay.  ;D

I have a copy of FSX.exe in my P3D folder for the migration tool to use.  I changed the FSX.exe location in the FEX setup screen to that one.  Then I installed a crazy profile I made a couple of years ago, called "Taste the Rainbow" for testing.  It turned the sky red.  Very red.    :o

FEX works with P3Dv2.

Then I went back in and selected the cloud, sky, water and water animation themes that I actually wanted to have.  Very cool!!   8)

vAL flight over Colorado at dawn.

In Hawaii.

I make them myself.  Thanks.  8)

That's the Hula girl from the photoreal Hawaii scenery page.  I thought it would be appropriate for checking out the new photoreal scenery in Hawaii.
