Cloud Shadows and Low Settings.

Just a small video of P3Dv2.2 and some cloud shadows.
The flying environment is fabulous IMHO but the shadows are set to the lowest possible. I still am getting in the 30´s to 40´s range with FPS. The shadows do not jump out at you as when the settings are set to max, but I can live with the compromise concerning the FPS hit I get when set higher.

Robert,
not being a P3D user I can only go from experience from Flight Simulator, if the flying experience is smooth without stutters FPS are just chasing a mirage. Smooth flight is what matters. With my old system and FSX I only had 20 FPS most of the time and it flew just fine. The new system I keep locked at 30 FPS and the major difference is that the scenery textures are much nicer with the extra horsepower.
Cloud shadows are only eye candy like cockpit shadows etc. Nice if your sytem can produce them but not necessary for the flight experience.
