Airport Facilities Tables - (On the FAQ Page)The new Airport Facilities Tables are ready for use
on the FAQ page. Mostly these include the additions of Windsocks, NDB's and Fuel Boxes (startups at the fuel box). Every PFxx and TFxx airport now has its on operational windsock and "operational" fuel pump per the indications on the tables. (There are some exceptions, look at the colors on the tables for specifics). The NDB's are OPTIONAL and can be downloaded separately from a file beneath the tables, read the instructions carefully, you DO NOT have to install the optional NDBs.
Download or not? If you are not interested in these small upgrades, then there is no need for you to re-download any of the airports or scenery areas. If you do want the update, you can get it directly from the FAQ table by clicking on the location name. OR you can still get it from the scenery page .. those too are all updated.
For NEW USERS: For new users who have not downloaded any of these, disregard the downloads on the tables and download from the Scenery Page, the updates are included there. The links on the Airport Facilities tables are only for the convenience of users who already have these locations downloaded and wish to update their location.
REMEMBER, play it SAFE! Delete the old scenery folder and add the new one. The scenery folder names are the same. It is not SAFE to overwrite, you may get duplicate files with "similar" names.
Using the Tables: The top two tables will probably not change unless there is a new airport added. These become a handy reference for you if you are interested in fuel management, are a heli pilot and need the wind direction, etc. The last table, (Table 3) , will change as we find locations that need windsocks, (Optional) NDB's and active fuel pumps. But that table will only be for UPDATES to present scenery locations. Any new scenery locations will be announced here in the NOTAMs and will be downloaded from the Scenery Page per usual.
MOST IMPORTANT!!!! Read the instructions for each table before using it. Everything you need to know is explained there. If it is not, let us know and we'll get it fixed to make it easier for you. These upgrades represent about 100 hours of time from the team, we hope you enjoy them.
