Rob Abernathy here.....
Back again as well.  Been lurking a bit but really miss this great group.  Been knee deep in MSFS sceneries but need to kick back, relax, and do more exploring in AK.   Downloaded the MS001 and will learn how to navigate again.   :)

Thanks guys, glad to be back.  I was pretty active until I started testing for Orbx, not realizing how much time that took, and look forward to calmer pursuits.   Speaking of Alaska, two weeks ago I was visiting my daughter and family just above Seattle, WA.  Wednesday night she says to be ready to go at 4 AM, we're going somewhere.  Wouldn't say where until we got to KSEA and I saw two gates.  One to KPDX and one to PANC.  We went to PANK for the day!  Saw all the sights, great lunch, plenty of float planes, plus moose n squirrel.  lol   I had spent 1 1/2 yrs on Adak Island and didn't realize how much I missed the wide open spaces.  Now I'm going to catch up on all the great scenery from Brad, Rod, and others.

Hi Rob,

Nice to see you at RTMM once again!  Now is a good time to get re-acclimated since there are new, exciting  things coming soon for Microsoft Flight Simulator's southern Alaska from RTMM.

Hello!  I'm another one of those 'not exactly new, been around before..' faces.  I was just getting into the whole modding FSX thing back in 2019, and then life sort of happened, in that way that it does.

Sorry if I left anyone in the lurch - I had been exchanging a few messages with some of the crew about getting scenery mods for the Tongass Fjords area approved for inclusion, and then just sort of vanished - sorry!

My father took ill aroud the time I stopped posting around here,  and sadly passed later that year.  Then just as we rolled into 2020 I took seriously ill (unrelated!) - two surgeries and long convalecenses later, all during the Covid plague, and I'm doing alright again.

The recent MSFS 2020 progress (float planes!) got me to thinking about simming again, and a buddy just picked it up on xbox and is very enthused.

So I just dropped for a new PC gaming rig (no way my old one was up to the job - it was only just keeping up with FSX!).  Delivery on sunday.  Can't wait!

Delighted to see there's RTMM scenery appearing for MSFS 2020!  My favourite place for flight-simming.

Is there a full Tongass pack available as there was for sale as there was for previous sims?

Either way, enthused to be coming back - hopefully life wont conspire to make me evaporate like so much mist this time!
The New Rig:

AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 4.6GHz, 32 Gig RAM, RTX 2060 D6 6GB V2 GPU, T16000M FCS Hotas, Logitech 3 stick Throttle Quad.

Thanks @jeff3163!

Not quite flying again yet, but hopefully in the next 40-48 hours!

Looking up what payware is out there/on the way and browsing for SDK info/tutorials.

I see the Milviz beaver is imminent for MSFS 2020 - seems like I did pick a good time to return!
