Good day "Datalus" and a very warm welcome.. back. (I don't remember you but then I have only been hanging around here for a decade or so). (I guess you have a bit of catching up to install the sim and start building it up to get all the add-ons in. Building the sim is like a hobby in itself but really it's the "same old same old".  Hit the scenery page at the top and work down - https://return.mistymoorings.com/scenery/).

Again a warm welcome back Sam.

Norm

ps; (Speaking of Sam... that reminds me of a kids book when I was very little.. had something to do with green eggs as I recall?).

Hi Sam, and welcome back.  I've been here since the beginning of RTMM, but don't remember any time when Misty Moorings or RTMM had been payware.  Doug, Brad?    ???

Hi,

I just wanted to say thank you to everybody involved in making Tongass Fjords available. Now I can search for cabins all along the coast. I really love trying to find them...

Hello Julian,
Welcome to RTMM's forum.  Happy hunting.  :)  Let us know if you need any help along the way, or an audience to take a look at your screenies and movies, etc.  Much to discover out there.  8)

Thank you all for the welcome! I'm still using FSX. The new sim sure is tempting, but my simming time is very limited and I want to use it for flying instead of installing updates and hotfixes as seems to be the case with MSFS 2020.

Luckily, thanks to you there is a lot to discover in FSX again.

Not exactly new, but returning...

MSFS has brought me back to general aviation flying, and the Bush League Legends Xcubs got me back to backcountry flying. Naturally, I came back to where I had the most fun with that.

I will say, for the record, that I really miss my Carenado C185F, though.

Dipped my toes into the scenery creation SDK yesterday, and put the USFS cabins around Tustumena Lake and Lake Emma yesterday. As I get each region done, I'll put them up on flightsim.to for others to use. I'm also planning to do a couple of the missing airstrips along the Iditarod Trail (Yentna Bend and Skwentna will be first up).

Best Regards,
