New user saying hello.  Real world helichopter pilot, but love to fly bush in FSX.  Here to learn and have fun.  Own a 208 EX on FSeconomy so I'm looking to set up shop in AK somewhere.  Also looking to buy a 185 in the future.  Just need more of that $$$$.  Looking forward to many adventures in Misty Moorings!

Hi, welcome aboard RTMM.  Low n' slow is king and bush flying is the game.  Once all the required libraries and scenery are acquired you will have the best bush flying experience available for FSX/P3D.

Glad to have a fellow rotorhead on board..  When you happen to fly a chopper in the RTMM world and want some extra challenging touchdowns, try Kildala Pass for suspension pinnacle landings or landable boats for moving helidecks .. If you miss, you'll only break your rotorblades here, virtually, not your pocket, life or limbs.. hence can still limp to treat the gang at Misty's Place for a round of beer. No excuse there!

Hi, Anton here and I'm new to RTMM after 9 years with OZx and Orbx, flying in all types of a/c. Favourites now are RA Lancair Legacy V2 with GTN750s', QW757, AS BeaverX, PMDG 737NG and Alabeo R77 heli.

I have already been enjoying the Alaskian Experiance via orbx's PNW, SAK and Global LC together with LCNA and Vector with Pilots Global Mesh 2010 for FSX. I have stuck to FSX (now SE version) for reasons of compatibility with so many addons'. I have been looking forward to adding both Tongass FjordsX and RTMM for quite some time now and have finally began the journey having just purchased Tongass FjordsX from Aerosoft and have began what I'm hoping is a long and fruitful journey.

So off for my first flight from PAKT to Misty's. Cheers for now

Great also fly heli's in FSX. I only fly the choppers.....I love the sound of rotors and the way helos behave in flight.....I guess the heli you mentioned is the Robinson R66 from Alabeo?

Thanks for your welcome and Jeff. Your right Robinson haven't upgraded their jet chopper yet, I did mean the R66. I have now had a flight from Ketchikan to Misty's Place in the Amp AS Beaver X with several water and land landings. Great place, makes me wonder if it exists or just fictional. Either way absolute fun in the sim, I used local weather via Active Sky Next and there was plenty of mist to live up to the reputation.

With PFJ, SAK, Tongass Fjords x and now MM it's another world. I have just installed Misty Air Taxi so will whip up to SAK for a look around and try the Trip Tic before coming back down to explore the original MM world.

always great when experienced FSX/ORBX scenery veterans come to RTMM and find all the great places the team have designed to expand the FS experience to both real world and fictional destinations in the 'bush'.  Misty's Place is fictional but the center of the RTMM world so to speak.
As you have already made it to Misty's we'll meet you there for that free beer your going to buy!!
