Welcom Aboard RTMM Terry,
I'm sure you have already been made aware of the extensive amount of adventure available here for we low n' slow folks.  Take the time to get all the required libraries etc. and begin the 'adventure'.
Of course it all starts at the bar at Misty's Place where you will buy the beer!!!  ;D

The "Virtual" Beer Problem at Misty's Place ... SOLVED!

Yes, there's an app for that!  It is called IBeer and you can get it at the app store.

Well I just flew into Misty's place and it was almost empty :)

Although it was around 6:30am local time. Guess you guys had just gone home  ;)

Tell you what - the Newbie pack and now Misty's place really make the low slow bush flying
pretty damn perfect.

Cheers  ;D

Hot damn Jeff and there I was with a full wallet ready to buy the beers :)

That reminds me. On the photo of the seaplane (Beaver I think it was)on short final to Misty's Place,
where can I get a Beaver with the retracks ? So I can take off on land or water.

Is there a freeware version or is it going to be payware ?
Thanks
Terry  :)

Hi Terry,
Sorry, but that would be "Off Topic" for this "Hi, I'm new!  (introduce yourself here)" thread.   :'(
     (. . . and actually, we've wandered off the path already!:o  (It's all that beer!)   ::)
but, feel free to start a new thread or just look up "amphibian beaver" here or on google.  ;)

Hello all!

Not new to visiting your website, but new as far as a login.  FSRobert (one of your members) has me visiting this site again.  I've been around flight sims since my Apple IIe Sublogic days.  Since my friends and I like to fly a lot of Alaska and Bush scenery areas in P3DV2, I thought I would try to visit this site more often.

My friends and I fly P3DV2 in multi-player a few times each week.  it's a very stable and great multi-player platform and is a blast as fars as bush flying into remote areas.  We all have the Orbx areas from Northern California to Alaska as well as Tongass X, so we're covered.

Spent 7 years in Alaska and have flown into some remote spots.  Beautiful and challenging area.

Welcome Steve! It's really neat when a real world pilot joins the community (is this a correct assumption based upon your USAF experience?) and plays in the sandbox with us.  Have fun!

Oh ya, what kind of aircraft did you fly?

Hello Steve and welcome to RTMM's forum.  Thanks for stopping in to say "hi".  See you at Misty's then, eh.  You can only dodge the "first round" for so long.   ;)  The gang will be filing in shortly.  :P
