Hi, I'm René from France, having relatives on Vancouver island. I just discovered Misty Moorings, you've really done a great job, bush flying for over 10 years but very disappointed when I started with FSX since there weren't that much sceneries for Alaska. ORBX changed things with SAK, and PFJ I bought recently, and of course Holger's Tongass Fjords. I downloaded almost all Misty's sceneries, I couldn't dream better, there's so much to discover I haven't been back on a liner the last two weeks.
I'll have to get rid of the old addons which are no longer compatible but I see there's enough to do without them.
Wonder if I should also get ORBX PNW since I already have Holger's Vancouver v.2.0, Victoria and Tampa's KSEA.

Thanks again for all the work you've done, and a happy new year to the whole team.

Renee,
welcome aboard RTMM.  Bush Flying is certainly our game and purpose.  Glad your enjoying low n' slow.
Of course we will expect you at Misty's Bar to buy the beer as the Newbie!!!!
PNW by ORBX, if you can afford to buy more scenery this close after Christmas, is a great buy as are all the ORBX Regions.  They contain much improved scenery over default FSX and provide much more realistic scenery.  In fact I would recommend the Northern California region as well.  Combined with PFJ, Holger's Tongass X and SAK you have the entire Pacific coast with the exception of Southern California which ORBX will release at a later date.  With this scenery it is possible to fly from San Fancisco to Anchorage without ever leaving top quality scenery.
Too bad you missed the ORBX Dec. sale as you could have saved a bit of cash.
Again, welcome and see you at Misty's

I call myself Gypsy Pilot and like the Boll Weevil I was just looking for a home when I discovered Misty's Place.

I now have a home and I have been busy for the past couple of weeks rebuilding my home after an OS failure.

I fly floaters and I love the challenge of flying here with it's almost unlimited places to go.

;D Flying in the rain, Just flying in the rain
What a wonderful feeling, Flying in the rain  ;D

Hi gang,

My name is Terry and I am in England.

I love my FSX but left it for a couple of years. Had Flight Simulator from the very first one
Microsoft released. My god am ancient :(

Thanks for having me around :)
Terry.

Great to have you on board. I see you are taking advantage of the forum to help you get started. I wish more people would do this. That is the "hardest" part ... getting the libraries working, etc. And we are here to help anyone through that process.  Once you are over that initial "initiation" to RTMM ... the membership is easy and a lot of fun.  I go off to other places in the world to fly ... then I come home ... this is one of the most beautiful places on earth.
