The next generation is on the horizon
« on: September 23, 2013, 09:58:56 AM »
It appears as if P3D 2.0 is now in beta stage. Officials stated that it will be released this year! See more details here http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/65210-prepar3d-v-20-in-beta/

So I think it may be time to prepare for the next generation of simulation.

BTW: I have tested the demo-version of x-plane 10 lately and was suprised (not as bad as I have thought). And then I found these preview pictures for Canada!(https://picasaweb.google.com/101666907909842492197/XPlane10HDMeshV2CanadaPREVIEW)
Nothing short of spectecular!

Not sure exactly why I should get excited about P3D 2.0?

Mind quoting the Orbx post in here as I'm not subscribed to their forum.

(mod edit: let's keep it civil)

And here is a list of the features LM is planning to implement into P3D 2.0.

That definitely sounds exciting to me! :D
