If you want to fly in NWT without seeing M$ great desert scenery
« on: February 13, 2011, 03:01:01 PM »
In case you want to fly a bit outside of Misty's area like the Northwest Territories you might be interested in a download at AVSIM named:

nwt_landscape.zip

While the author calls it landscapes it is actually landclass and mesh for the NWT.  It makes all the difference in the world to what FSX looks like.  The file has 3 automated .gif files that show default and the new scenery for three different areas so you can compare instantly.
Enjoy.

EDIT:
filename corrected.

As the MM RW NWT resident. The NWT Landscapes will greatly enhance the NWT. Dont forget our neighbor Nunavut also has a Landscape available and Gilles and me have Yukon in testing. Gilles did a excellent job on the Canadian Arctic Territories.

I have those and have tested NWT and Yukon with no ills or trouble. The Nunavut also works with UTX.

A search with that file name at Avsim turns up no results for me.  Is there another way to get this file?

Thanks

Nothing like sprucing up Trout Lake in the SW Corner of NWT.
