Duplicate ships in Behm Canal
« on: June 28, 2013, 02:25:11 PM »
I ran across this situation twice on a random flight this morning. Anyone know what would cause it?

Brian,
I'm betting that you probably renewed/rebuilt your scenery database during your flight.  For instance if you open the FSX Scenery Library and click on OK it rebuilds the scenery configuration database and this will cause duplicate AI traffic like you see in the screen shot.  Just one of those nice little tricks FSX likes to throw out at us.

To "fix" it, just turn off your AI traffic and fly for a minute, then go back in and turn it back on.  When it comes back, it will be one set. ;)

I've seen this before and always thought they were drafting like in NASCAR
