If you have Vancouver X, that has a few scenery items at Tipella.

I flew there last night just to check out the location. It's a short little hop out of Chilliwack. It's a bit of a challenge to land and had to make a few passes first. Great fun! The area is stunning, but CBB7 could definitely use sprucing up. The upcoming Orbx freeware looks incredible and will be very welcome here.

BTW, this new Orbx developer (Gordon) looks to be very talented and I'll look forward to his future projects.

I have been reading the thread at ORBX but still am confused, is this an ORBX release or Gordon's release?  Seems a bit strange that there is nothing in the thread by any of the ORBX powers that be about the scenery.  It looks good from the screen shots though.

Hi Spud,

JV finally chimed in with regards to Gordon, Tipella's developer:

"Just like Vlad Maly (and others before him) cut his teeth on Orbx scenery design with his freeware airports, we're doing the same with Gordon's debut scenery as a freeware release and then he will apply this same attention to detail for a future payware offering."

And a little further down the thread, also by John Venema: "In most cases if their work is good enough (as was Gordon's) then I invite them to make some freeware for Orbx and see how things pan out."

Looks like Gordon is Orbx' newest team member. From what I can see from the screenshots I'd say he'll make a fine addition. I'd say a win for Orbx and a win for us!  :)

Ted,
thanks for the link with JV's comments.  It clears up my question completely.
