I did see the links from above.I did download those.I have the paints in a temp folder.
Those paints appear to be for a DC-3 Float version plane
The paint .cfg entry info doesn't say amphibian in the text info.So I'd be thinking there should be an MM paint for the Float DC-3 version,and a paint for the amphibian version,unless the paint I downloaded will work for either the float or amphibian DC-3?.

Since I have the MAAMSim XC-47c amphibian.I installed the MM Paint for it.It did work out.Since there was a problem with the windshields being opaque off-white.I copied the windshield texture files,from the MAAMSim XC-47C main texture folder,and copied them to the MM amphibian texture folder.That took care of the windshield issue.
It looks pretty good for being an FS9 paint.Now all I have to do is find the shockwave lights .cfg entries to add to it etc.
