Thanks, Jeff & Klaus,

As soon as I get done with my current RTMM project which will be taking up some significant time, I will look into getting OPUS.

My latest acquisition.  A C185F amphibian "Misty Moorings Taxi" and a pilot to fly it.  Why?  I don't know!  It was a late night impulse buy.  I'm glad it's just virtual money.  But it was cheap at $200,000.  It's slow at 135 knots, and can only carry 600 pounds.  It is fun to fly though.  ;D

This is what I was shopping for the other day.  A new day dawns on Misty Charters.  I finally earned enough money, and took out a loan from the bank to buy a Misty Moorings DC-3 for my fleet. ($2.4 million)

I call 'er Big Misty, and currently she is hauling the equivalent of 9 beaver cargo runs at once.  (. . . and coming back home with a cargo run of DVD's worth over $26,000 dollars.)

Neat livery, matches the rest of your fleet.

I should look into a custom design for my Catalina X in AH.

I found it on the old Misty Moorings site. ;)

. . . So I googled my way to the repaint.  It turned out to be right on the MM 2004 site,(http://www.mistymoorings.com/hanger/index.php) go figure.  So I slapped it into my DC-3 folder, added the section to my aircraft.cfg file and Presto!!

Clicking the link will initiate download of "MistyDC3.zip"-

Ah, nice!  And I see it isn't raining where you live! ;)  (lol)  ;D

Agréable de voir un autre Misty DC-3 ici. Merci pour la photo, Nadine. ;)
Je fixant un MAAM Sim C-47 amphibie qui se trouvait sur la page de téléchargement MM 2004.  8)

I'm at the "used airplane" yard, looking over a potential purchase.  A MAAM Sim XC-47C amphibian.  When I first got into it, the windows were opaque.  Yikes!!  (. . . also, it can't carry as much as my DC-3 can.)  But it can land on water.  There's a lot of that going on around here. ;)

There are a couple of links above us, if you scroll up ::).  One link takes you to the download page where all things old Misty can be found.  The other link automatically downloads the "DEFAULT DC-3" Misty Moorings paint.  Remember that it is all for FS9.  The DC-3 paint works great, "out of the box".  But the MAAMSim XC-47c amphibian needed some work for me to be able to use it in FSX.  The cockpit windows were opaque off-white.  I had to make them transparent, with my DXT2BMP program.  Also, the "Aerosoft Beaver" stuff is not for the "BeaverX".  The custom beaver gauges with backlighting didn't work!  :'(  Oh well!  ;D

I did see the links from above.I did download those.I have the paints in a temp folder.

Those paints appear to be for a DC-3 Float version plane
The paint .cfg entry info doesn't say amphibian in the text info.So I'd be thinking there should be an MM paint for the Float DC-3 version, and a paint for the amphibian version, unless the paint I downloaded will work for either the float or amphibian DC-3?.
