A Couple of Test Shots
« on: January 30, 2013, 03:32:16 AM »
Just messing around for a while.  Very rusty.  Got down at Misty's with the Scout but ended up in the drink! Really need rudder pedals (hopefully next week) and TrackIR.  Hate the FSX view system.

Great shots, Mike!!!!

TrackIR is a must have. Once you are used to it, you`ll never lift off for flight without it! :)

Thanks, guys.

Klaus, haven't looked at flying choppers yet.  In any case, most of them (including my BO-105) are still stuck on the old system until I get a transfer cable (also next week).

Playing with CIRP.  Can't remember exactly where these were taken.  Think the first one is leaving a glacier behind at about my 7 o'clock but not sure.  Just hopping from place to place at the moment, whenever I install another location, drooling at the scenery.  Need some better controllers before I start to turn the difficulty level up.

There are some really nasty short strips in RTMM, aren't there.  Nearly ate some trees at one (had to haul the Beaver up by the ankles).  Got the Aviat Husky out of another relatively easily, other than that hard right just after liftoff (Little Oliver Creek, I believe) but I'd be leery about going back in, if I could even find it! The Husky is good short field but this one might need a Storch!

That's a great shot of the Beaver. Is it the Aerosoft version?

Yes.  Nice plane but it'll take some dedication on my part to learn to use it properly
