Just checking to see whether our East coast members are okay. Here in Toronto (about 350 miles from the landfall) we got some pretty nasty winds overnight (one dead) but not a lot of rain. It has been raining off and on for about a week, with a couple more days scheduled, but not really a lot of accumulation in total, although, stay away from the rivers.
Four of my cousins and their sister-in-law were down in NYC for several days and I haven't heard whether they got back safe yet so I'm a little worried.
Nasty business overall.
