New Project in the Making
« on: February 05, 2024, 08:08:12 AM »
Hi folks, I have a new lovely plane I heartily recommend - the //42 Kitfox. Although my personal preference is rarely not to use glass cockpits - carting all those wild critters does tend to make for a lot of mess  ;D

I think I'll go for the stripey variant rather than the flash - Seems to stick better.

As I said in the previous... the stripey looks better to me. Plus the cream outlining for logos etc.

Now to find some dirty brushes to add to the overall Misty tramp look...

This looks really, really good. Unfortunately I don't fly it (because of the glass cockpit).

I totally agree with you about glass cockpits.

But it is still a nice little plane...

Actually I own it and I will make a flight using your livery.

Looks kewl!  Hmmm, might also look good on the c182, c182rg as well as the latest c207.

Nice work.

It might take a while for Dirty Gertie to be finished. MS / Asobo have caught me by surprise with this. Maybe I can work out a Moorings skin for her?

But it's not a plane it's a BUG!  Will definitely NOT be installing their Dune gaming add-on pack... which is only a few flyable missions on a desert like planet in a mechanical dragonfly!

OK, I do understand

But as someone who happens to like the story - a lot - I love this bug. Tooling down Grand Canyon is so much fun; more so than that silly Halo Pelican thingy. But my little bro, being 10 years younger, played the game and could relate to that.

I will be back with the //42 KitFox ASAP - even with that glass cockpit (coughspit). I am working on bloodstains and bear claw marks next :D

lol one eye... (I uninstalled that silly Halo Pelican thingy too!)

For me, if it's totally unrealistic, or items that I don't use like most of the jets, all of the bush trips, landing challenges, training exercises or discovery flights.. well they're removed too, which not only saves almost 30gb to use for other items/add-on I want or consider usable items but that saves needlessly loading them each time the sim starts which considerably speeds up the loading of the sim!
