P3D v5.3 is here

Haven't tried it yet, but 5.3 is released for download.

Had a complete new install without any probs.
Downloaded the complete install package, 
made a recreation point with W10,
deinstalled all P3D components with the windows control panel,
ran a registry cleaner,
made a full install of P3D v5.3 with the installer.
controlled my P3D options,
and flow as before without any probs.

PS no obvious changes up to now

me too all work fine
Also we are in DX12 with this Last vesion V5.3

all addons are one and done
i just need to do a new  P3D.cfg scenery by deleting the existant .

P3D v5.3.1 is out now.  Just replace the scenery files and the client.

The Prepar3D v5.3 Hotfix 2 (5.3.17.28160) is now available and can be downloaded immediately...

Are there obvious benefits from all these rapid P3D updates?
I have been stuck on P3D v5.2 since October -after an another clean install and restoration of all Addons
The thought of going through this process every update rather discombobulates me
Am I missing much?
Must confess that I now do most of my flying in MSFS2020 where updates are also regular but require little input from me -allowing more time for flying

It's not necessary to apply the latest fix, but descriptions are available on the website as to what it corrects.  No huge changes.  It's stable and all I did was replace the client and that was it.  No more fiddling required.

Orbx has a big thread running on this upgrade  with a general conclusion that it is an improvement but that a clean install is the overall recommendation
Not sure I can face it again!
