XPLANE

I am thinking about switching or at the least adding X PLANE. Does RTMM  support it with dedicated scenery? Thanks.

No sir Sherm, RTMM scenery has never been created for xplane and don't expect it ever will.

thanks  Rich.

I have downloaded the xplane demo, there is a learning curve of course and I have not yet deciced whether the sim has any advantage for me over p3d....If I do buy xpplane, I will keep p3d active so that I can continue with rtmm...

I hear you Sherm... when I got MSFS, I really never used my old sim again but I kept it on my PC for almost a year. until... and finally, I removed it and all of the supporting apps and scenery for it.. and gained over 2gb of space back!

On the XPlane front, investigate the ortho download requirement. From my understanding, for half descent quality, you need to download ortho tiles for the photogrammetry but better IFR if you like flying tubes.
