X52- Saitek - HOTAS
« on: July 27, 2023, 05:31:47 PM »
I run into a little problem with my X52 Throttle ... on the plane it "flutters" opening and closing very quickly. I've got the COMMUNITY folder empty, FSAddon Linker is not active, I've created a new KEYBOARD profile, MOUSE Profile and HOTAS Profile. I've played with sensitivity (nothing). And I've tried to calibrate with the Windows 10 calibration tool. (The throttle looks fine in the calibrator, however, the X and Y axis don't move the red ribbons but they do move the dot in the square). Has anybody got an idea what this might be?  I've attached a little MP4 so you can see the problem.

Doug, this looks like there is another Throttle Axis binding somewhere.

You are kind of right. I figured it out.  I've always used the universal throttle axis for the controls. Turns out, I need to use the Throttle 1 axis (there are 4 of these for multi engine planes) for a single engine plane, then for the multi engine planes, I use the universal one.  This makes everything work.  I updated all my drivers and perhaps this was a change they had or something.
