Question on ADE (Float Plane Remote Start)
« on: August 28, 2015, 03:51:58 PM »
To create a start position for a float plane, that is on a DIFFERENT waterway, how do you "connect" it so it is not an orphan start?  I have an airport out in the sea water, dock starts are fine and the helipads are fine. But there is a starting position for a float plane up at a lake ... that you cannot taxi to.  Do you still just connect the "taxi" link in ADE to make it work?

Use the ADEX context menu
ADD
OTHER START
START TYPE WATER
Select RUNWAY NUMBER
RUNWAY DESIGNATOR NONE

OK
Compile

No runway no taxiway !
You can draw the starting points later if necessary to the exact position you need

Example file PP05_ADEX_DTM.bgl  in the app.zip
