Thank's Steve!  Interesting too, Steve has taught me you cannot "downsize" the size of a helipad with a hard surface. The hard surface keeps the original dimensions , so you may have a smaller helipad, but the invisible hard surface doesn't "stick" to the downsized object's dimensions ... it stays the way it was. Just another "fun" thing.

Also, on this one, I noticed the static boat's wake was off center with the back and front of the boat. That is because the "fog" object I use to make the wake, "moves" when you place it at a location at altitude. We are about 4000 feet in altitude at Tsuniah Lake Lodge.  So I made two changes for you. I'm going to go back and work on the boat wakes at Big Creek Lodge next.

1. There is a new "large" picture that reflects what you will be seeing (the new dock)
2. The boat wake is re-centered under the boat now.

The update is "up" on the Scenery Page if you are interested in these little details.  And thank you for pointing out the dock image problem ... we APPRECIATE hearing those things so we can get them correct. Thank You!!

I only put this scenery topic up as info on what I see when I installed the addon scenery. The addon is fine the way it is.

Do you have tangass fjords X? Doug may have used a TFX library object when he was making the scenery. If you don't have TFX, then you will have some objects missing in lots of RTMM sceneries.

Yes. I do have Tongass Fjords X installed.

I added Tsuniah Lake Lodge a couple hours ago. I'm seeing a couple issues I'm having, and not sure what's causing them.

The airfield itself is fine, and everything is there.

In the water though. I'm seeing one of the boat/float plane piers are missing?, according to one of the addon screenshots in the files of the scenery download. So. I'm not sure why I'm missing the pier?. I'm wondering about the boat seen in my added screenshot. It appears to be static and doesn't move?. The red plane. I'm not sure if it is a static plane or AI and does fly etc?.

I do have the latest RTMM updated library added. I do also have my RTMM Season Switcher set to Summer as well.
Maybe I'm having an elevation issue, but unsure. I haven't had any issues when I'm adding RTMM addon's. Not lately. I did install the latest 6 RTMM addons in the past few day's. These are all fine, from what I can see etc.

I'd like to ask about Doug's Hawaii addon's.

I haven't got started on this project yet. I'm still an FSX user and I do have the ORBX Global and Vector.

I did go to the Photo Real Scenery Hawaii main page, and had a look. The only thing I downloaded out of there main page was the Hawaiian Airports packs. Parts I,II and III. Will these airports work without adding all the Hawaiian mesh requirements, since I already have the ORBX Global and Vector?. Than I'll want to add all of Doug's small addon fields, like I do with all the RTMM addon's I already have.

For me. It boils down to. Will the Doug's small added fields work well with my ORBX Global and Vector I already have?.
I did download the single zip file, that has all the added fields seen on the main RTMM page, rather than download them one at a time, when I click on Doug's Hawaii.

I just don't want to be fooling with mesh addons, when I don't know what I'm doing. I don't want to ruin a good thing I already have with ORBX Global and Vector. I want to keep it simple for now.



I'm back to normal. The two .bgl's in question are there etc.

Thanks Rod. That's a relief.

I guess I was concerned about the update dates of the RTMM required Object Libraries FSXP3D Part 1, 2 and 3 downloads.
Part 1 in particular. I did read the NOTAM that shows. It mentions the AhZx Sub Library added two files: FSXP3D Kh_grasses_Lib.bgl and FSXP3Dkh_Ymry_Lib.Bgl.
I'll make sure these two files added from the Part 1 update.

I'm assuming my screenshots show I have what I should have installed, as in the past etc.

Other than that. I'll delete the three Library parts downloads I did earlier.

I downloaded the latest updates/changes for parts 1,2 and 3 of the library's. I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do, updating the library's I already have. The RTMM library's I currently have, I've had for quite some time, and kept them updated as required for my FSX.
I'm not sure how to add/update the parts 1,2 and 3 of the library's, or what I should be doing.

I'm still an FSX user. I don't use DX10.

I'm adding a screenshot of the RTMM Library's I have installed in my FSX. All the library's of the past to present are within the library's seen in the screenshot, and are activated in my FSX. So. I'm not sure if mine are consolidated or non-consolidated RTMM library's. I'm still looking at the readme for the RTMM Library Part 1. I guess I don't quite understand what I should be doing, or how to proceed with the install, of the RTMM Library, parts 1, 2 and three.
I don't want to make any mistakes, that's for sure>

Hi George,
I'll be glad to see if we can get your Nvidia Inspector settings up and running again. I haven't messed around with it for a long time but I have a profile setting for FSXDX10 that should probably work for you.

I'm not positive, but I think I remember reading that the newer Nvidia Inspectors don't have the settings for FSX anymore so you have to either create one by hand or import someone else's - which I can give to you.

Just and FYI, FSUIPC wouldn't corrupt Nnvidia Inspector's settings, so something else is responsible. Did you reinstall it or install a brand new one?

Also, your jagged edges are a result of something amiss in your antialias settings, which can be adjusted through Nvidia Inspector.

The best way to handle this is one on one rather than a back and forth on the forum. Send me a private message and we'll work on it. Don't panic!

Before I installed the latest version of FSUIPC. I backed up my current FSUIPC modules folder in my FSX The version which is Than I installed the newest version of FSUIPC which is
I have removed the newest version, and re-added the previous version I had.

I did here a rumor, that the Flight Simulator 10 that does show up in the inspector profiles list,  is Flight Simulator X as well?. I don't know how true that is though.

I'm still an FSX user.

Does anyone here use the Nvidia Inspector tool?.

I had a problem yesterday. I installed the latest version of FSUIPC. This was probably a bad idea for me and my FSX. After I installed it. I opened my Nvidia Inspector tool, and found my MS Flight Simulator X profile I had is no longer there. No I have jagged edges everywhere, including on all my airplanes.
I looked at all the games that are listed in the NVidia inspector. For some reason. MS-Flight Simulator X doesn't show up, so I can check the profile settings I had for my FSX. All the other flight simulator games are there, but not flight simulator X?

I did go back to the previous FSUIPC I had installed. I thought by doing this, would bring back the MS-flight Simulator X I had in the games list that that show with the NVidia Inspector Tool.

So I guess my question is or would be. Should MS-Flight Simulator X basic profile be there in the NVidia inspector tool?. If I have to create a new Flight Simulator X profile. How do I do it using  the NVidia inspector tool?.  Than I can make the necessary settings, like I had two days ago.
I have my FSX profile settings I want and was using. So. Until I figure out how to create or add MS-Flight Simulator X to the NVidia Inspector  tool program. My FSX is un-flyable the way it is, with all the massive jagged edge issues etc.

My Central 3 FTX and OLC insertion points are set as shown in your screenshot above.

For now. I'm leaving my Central 3 closed, until orbx, gets the bloopers/problems figured out with central 3.

I followed Jeff's instructions doing the insertion points in central 3 for my FSX. After I made the insertion points for FTX and OLC I clicked the save button. Than I closed central and started my FSX. I checked my FSX library, and my FTX and OLC entries are where they should be.
I'm not sure if it will stay that way, based on what ORBX does and is doing with Central 3 etc.

I do also have The two Tongass Fjords entries. Since there is no insertion points function in central 3 I could use. I had the move those manually to between my FTX and OLC entries in my FSX library. I'm not sure if they will stay put where I put them in the library?.

I do also have all the OZx addons as well. I used the OZx_NA for my FTX insertion point.

Since Orbx set everything up in alplabetical order. I have for other OZx addons, that are much further down in my FSX lineup. These are Olgas, Grand_Canyon, Death Valley and Ants Aussie Airports and Ants Aussie Airports_Boonah. I'm not sure where I need to manually move these in my FSX Library, and hope they stay put when I move them etc?.

The spray 'clumps' and also dirt clumps are indeed unrealistic and there is a way to omit them that was posted in 2011 on the OZx site.
This link will take you to the Utilities section of OZx and scroll down to about the middle of the files and find
1. Remove clumps from dust effect
2. Remove clumps from wheelsnow spray effects

They will rid you of the unrealistic clumps.


I did download and apply the remove clumps from wheelsnow spray effects you were referring to. It didn't cure the unrealistic clumps from the plane floats etc.  The original spray effect file was already/previously backed up. So. I'm not sure what's next for the water splash effect?.
I didn't download and install the clumps from the dust effects. My dust effects on land is fine.

If Jeff is the expert with the water/splash effect files. Maybe he could/might chime in here as well.

I did reinstall the RTMM BWEP SAKv1 Scenery. Everything is installed related to BWEP. The ORBX PAVD is installed as well.

I'll keep an eye on the NOTAMs, for the updates your referring to etc.

That answers my concern.

While I'm here. can you have a look at my screenshots again, and look at the wake/splash effects on the plane floats going down the sides of the floats. I see white water spray clumps, while my plane is moving.

Would you have a replacement effect file you could add here to correct this spray effect I'm seeing?.
