Misty Flying Club and Multi Player / Beecher Pass Cabin
« on: March 14, 2019, 12:59:02 PM »
I just flew the 2nd leg of MFC0014 SPB(68A) to BEPA (Beecher Pass Cabin)  As I taxied up to finish the flight all I could see at the spot was campfire smoke. There was no other scenery. As I continued to taxi closer my P3D v4.4 crashed. I have done a little searching for information on this cabin and find very little information. I have the coordinates to begin the flight for the next leg but was just wondering what I need to install and or correct to see this site properly.  Thanks for any help you can offer.

This morning I loaded up the Barnstorming flight MFC0005. I loaded in the Beaver Amphib at 5KE which is a water landing. I taxied out to the water area and shut down the engine. Opened Cigar Box and all looked fine. Clicked Start Flight and get a message that "Airplane is not on the ground" I shut everything down and ran the FTX Central 3 opened settings and ran Configure FTX Global Vector thinking the elevation was off. Fired up P3Dv4 and set up the flight again. Airplane not on the ground. I went ahead and flew the flight just for fun and no credit.

Can anyone offer help? Everything in Cigar Box looks fine and the flight downloaded just fine.

DX10 and Prepar3D Discussions / Owikeno Trip Tic by Doug Linn
« on: March 01, 2015, 05:03:41 PM »
TeeCee and I had a lot of fun this morning flying this Trip Tic. We had been working for quite some time getting Prepar3Dv2.5 installed along with Tongass Fjords, ORBX scenery and all the RTMM libraries and sceneries. But it was well worth it. My old weak Dell computer, 4 years old, ran like a charm producing 20 fps out of max 20 fps on most of the flight with mist, water falls, and all the wonderful RTMM scenery installed. Looked great. Mountains, glaciers, water, rocks, all really fine! Could not say enough about how pleased we were with all of it. Owikeno Lake and that area will be fun to explore for some time to come. Thanks to all with RTMM who had something to do with producing this fantastic area. Just great!

Help and Troubleshooting / titles missing in scenery library
« on: January 27, 2013, 03:38:07 PM »
While trying to make some improvement in my FSX scenery library I have messed something up. I have a total of 384 listings in the scenery library. When I start FSX and go to settings and scenery library the titles show up for the first few items and then no titles for items 6 through 198. The addon scenery is there and works fine but no titles. Any good suggestions for me to try and get the titles showing again? I use Prepar3D also and the scenery library there is fine, but I have not tried to improve it either, so it is safe so far. I have run the acceleration disc with repair but that did not improve anything. If I add some new scenery the titles show up. All the titles were there before I started messing with it this time.
Thanks in advance for any ideas you have to offer.

Help and Troubleshooting / Ocean Falls installation problem
« on: July 23, 2012, 07:58:29 AM »
When I download Ocean Falls I get two folders. One is Ocean Falls and when I open that folder there is a scenery folder inside it. That seems to be normal and all of my other scenery folders in RTMM are like that. But the problem is I also get another scenery folder along with the original Ocean Falls. So when I download it I get Downloads - Compressed - Ocean Falls. That opens to two folders, Ocean Falls and Scenery. The Ocean Falls folder opens with a scenery folder inside it. Inside both of those scenery folders is "ocean_falls.bgl".   I have tried a lot of different ways to add on this scenery and nothing so far has worked. Please let me know how to handle this installation. I have lots of other RTMM scenery working so I do understand how to install most of it.

General Discussion / CeyX sceneries Libraries in Prepar3D
« on: June 04, 2012, 09:43:39 PM »
Sorry about this but I have a problem that I cannot solve. I have the scenery library installed in FSX fine and all five of the cabins show up in the test. But after loading the CeyX Scenery Libraries into Prepar3D I can only get three cabins to show in the test. I discovered a problem when looking at Owikeno Lake scenery and found at the dock at Machmel Village I was missing the big red brick building and the smaller red brick bulding next to the five little cabins. I have cleared the CeyX file many times and reloaded it and nothing has helped. I am open to any ideas. I seem to have all the other scenery in the area showing up fine and am really enjoying seeing all this fantistic scenery in Owikeno Lake.

Help and Troubleshooting / Plan G has stopped working
« on: November 17, 2011, 04:26:20 PM »
I have FSX and Windows 7 and have been using Plan G for a while now. Today it has stopped working. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice and get the same problem. It will not seem to load up the data base and I can go no farther with the program. None of the items on the top of the page will open up anything. Any ideas?  Thanks,  By the way, this has been one of my favorite programs and it has worked great in the past.

From Here to There - Missions, Trip Tics and VA / Dispatch #3
« on: August 14, 2011, 09:22:41 PM »
I seem to have a problem with Dispatch #3.  #1 and #2 went fine. In flying #3 I find that SE Heckman Lake Cabin, Patching Lake Cabin, Fish Creek Cabin and Phocena Bay Cabin are not in my FSX. I checked the Scenery download library and they are not shown there either. All of these appear in Plan G except Phocena Bay Cabin.  Have I missed something? Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. I have not checked FSDiscover for these cabins but I don't think they are there either. I am enjoying flying these dispatches.

Help and Troubleshooting / Where is Misty Moorings Scenery Folder?
« on: February 13, 2011, 08:14:12 PM »
Everything has been going well and I am enjoying the heck out of RTMM. I have Windows 7 and FSX with Acceleration. All the addon scenery has installed and worked just like it should until I get to the sound addons. I have unzipped the file and it says "copy the *.bgl files to your Misty Moorings scenery folder"  Well does that go into Misty's Place folder or where?  This is the installation of Nina's_Sound_FSX that I am trying to install and I can find nothing called a Misty Mooring scenery folder. The wav and fx files I have no problem with. I am sure that I am just overlooking something but please any help you can offer will be appreciated. Many thanks for all the hard work you guys have put into this RTMM program. It is great and offers many hours of joy.
