Thanks Doug. My brother in law just came back from a Salmon fishing trip there. Got a kick out of it because they were flown from the airport in Ketchikan to the lodge. It's about 3.4 miles - as the crow flies but it took 15 minutes. They must have flown over Annette Island or something.

Addon Scenery and Enhancements / ICAO designators
« on: June 29, 2014, 05:14:27 PM »
I do most of my flying using the ACARS program developed by VAFinancials and we need ICAO's to build their flight plans. I just loaded the great scenery for Aiken Creek Camp but could not find and ICAO within the Misty Moorings information so I used PF70.
All of this got me wondering if its possible to get an idea of how us users could have a place where we could add ICAO's to a ongoing list?

Cheers,
Ken

Addon Scenery and Enhancements / New install of FSX
« on: June 29, 2014, 12:55:10 PM »
I want to thank you folks for putting together such a great site and software. Just this past week I did a clean removal - totally - of FSX and then a reinstall. The RTTM reinstall was a cake walk.  Read the instructions and  created a RTTM Scenery Library and a RTTM Object Library inside the Addon Scenery folder. Downloaded the new part I and II packages, unpacked them and placed the five Library folders in the Objects folder, then dropped seven scenery folders in the Scenery Library folder. Activated everything. A day later I added the Owikeno Lake Area; took me about five minutes from download to activation.
So spoiled - I know it :) :)

I see some very interesting information here and wanted to confirm something.
Right now I have the BGL's etc in a RTTM folder inside the Addon Scenery folder. The libraries are just in the Addon Scenery folders by them selves.
I'm thinking I need to create a Misty Moorings folder under the Addno Scenery then the RTTM under Misty Moorings. With all the separate locations, such at Fillmore Cove, etc. in there own folders inside the  RTTM folder.  From what everyone is saying that's the best way to go. Now what about the Libraries, where are they stored, in Misty Moorings?

Regards,

Tenpin

I'm not on this forum as much as I should be but I wanted to tell you folks what a great place this is. The scenery you are putting out is outstanding. Loving every minute of it. Loaded up Nina's Cove the other day and Wow! what a beautiful setting.

Thanks again

Thank you guys. Like I said I have a RTTM main folder and within that several pieces of your great scenery. Will go with a CRIP folder then place everything in single scenery and texture folders. If that pulls to much off the FPS I will keep them separated.

Forgive me if this has been answered someplace else.
I have a RTTM folder inside the Addon Scenery folder that I use for all the MM scenery. I want to add a CIRP folder for that area. Would like to know if I can place all the "scenery" from the several icefields and such into a single scenery folder instead of having a separate scenery folder for each icefield?
