Great job on that approach and landing. Isn't that a great spot?? Kim really found us some excellent locations. Hat's off to him really. I just placed a few objects in his playground.

Loved it. Keep these little videos coming.

Sorry Kim, didn't mean to step on your toes here. Looks like we were replying at the same time.

Here's how you install this package.
Unzip to a temporary folder on you hard drive.
After unzipping, you will see twelve .bgl files with ADEX in the file names. (13Z_ADEX_KG.BGL, etc.)
And you will find one .bgl file named: Traffic_MM_FSX_floatplanes

Create a folder in your FSX "Addon Scenery" folder named "RTMM Seaplane AI Traffic"
Create a sub-folder in "RTMM Seaplane AI Traffic" named "scenery"

Now carefully follow along here. Take each of the twelve .bgl files with ADEX in the name that you just unzipped and put just those twelve files into the /RTMM Seaplane AI Traffic/ scenery/ folder you just created. Make sure you do NOT put the .bgl file that begins with "Traffic" into this folder.

Take the remaining file from the unzip process named, "Traffic_MM_FSX_floatplanes" and put that into your FSX programs /Scenery/World/Scenery folder.

Now start up FSX. Once everything loads up you should be brought to the "Free Flight" screen.

On the "Free Flight" screen, on the left hand side, select "Settings"
On the "Settings" screen, on the right hand side where "Other Settings" are, select "Scenery Library"
On the "Settings - Scenery Library" screen, on the right hand side, select "Add Area"
That will open up a file browser window, locate the "Addon Scenery" folder and double click on that.
Another file browser window opens, locate the "RTMM Seaplane AI Traffic" folder and SINGLE click that.
Now select "OK"
And select "OK" again to exit and the program begins to compile your new scenery library order.

You should now be able to go to any of the seaplane locations you just added to the "Pacific Fjords" and have AI Seaplanes sharing your skies!! Try Z43, it's a busy little place.

That should get you up and running.

Let us know if things are now working and we hope you enjoy the new traffic.

Help and Troubleshooting / Re: Missing texture at Misty's

Yeah it's definitely something we have to consider as developers. But, making two versions of my scenery isn't going to be that hard, just time consuming, so I hope non-accelerated friends will be patient as I partake on this journey.

Looks great to me! I want to thank you for such excellent additions.

I need to do this. In my false assumption that everyone had acceleration, I have excluded the probable majority of our guests. I am sorry.

I will make a default FSX version for each of our locations and with your help, we will have a suitable alternative that no longer excludes anyone, but includes each of you.

Just let me see what you're seeing and I'll make us something.

Thanks for your help,

Now you can see what projects we're working on for you! Check out our "Coming Soon" feature which is located at the top of the NOTAM's section.

That's right, we have some AI Seaplane traffic coming soon!

Brad :)

Help and Troubleshooting / Re: Nina's Landing and missing Lodge/Objects

Thanks Barryd. That's a good starting point. I'll be on this soon.

Well, let's just come up with something for those that don't have acceleration shall we? I just need to see what people are missing. Then I can make a Nina's or whatever for the less accelerated folks.

Tell you what, I am going to ask a couple of unaccelerated volunteers to help me with this project. Through it's completion, and that could take a little while. I will need you to show me pictures of what you're seeing at each of our locations. One location at a time mind you. If I see a bunch of images from all of our places all at once, I'll head on over to "Misty's Place" and you'll never get me outta there.

So, let's start an "unaccelerated" hunt. One scenery area at a time for each volunteer. We'll start with "Misty's Place" I've seen the one image so far with the cabin and campfire.

So, Dragnhorn and Barryd. I'm picking you two for this dubious honor. You both are running FSX in it's unaccelerated state. Here's what I need you two to do for me so we can make everybody happy.
Post images in a forum post here and show me the scenery in it's entirety. By that I mean, take screenshots of the various objects that you can see. Not close ups, but overview shots so I can compare your screenshot to what I'm seeing and then alter the version I have into a new unaccelerated version.

This will open our places up and keep everybody happy I think. Just so you know though, I'm not buying any drinks for myself in "Misty's" after this. Somebody's going to have to spring for my tab until I see this project through.

So unless I hear that you both don't want to take on this assignment, here's the opening task list.

Dragnhorn: "Misty's Place"
Barryd: "Nina's Landing"

You both can post some screen captures now and let's get some work done.

 ;) Glad you liked it.

As Kim said,

I gave it a whirl and Kim had positioned a dirt strip high on Deer Mountain for me to play at. I just couldn't make it work though as it was too far fetched. So, the DMGC moved their operations down to "Misty's" as you may have wondered why those gliders are parked over by Hanger #2. And, while I still haven't tried out a glider flight at Misty's yet, I'm hoping it works alright.

Hi Glenn,

I'll need more information from anybody who has more experience doing this.

But when using Instant Scenery, whenever you place an object into your scenery project area, it will remove any autogen objects under and around that recently placed object. This will happen everytime an object is added in IS unless you specify that it shouldn't remove the autogen near the object you placed. That's a selective option inside IS.

So, if the terminal building is an autogen object, then I believe you can place your new object over it and leave the "remove autogen" option active in IS, you shouldn't see the old object anymore.

Anybody else wish to confirm or deny my claim? Because I haven't ever done what I just spoke of so, my theory needs more experienced users to explain it. I never try to remove autogen, just fit inside it.

"Flying Wild Alaska" is on Discovery Channel right now. It's a fantastic show and is all about Era Alaska and how they cover the Bush in the Last Frontier.

Check it out.

Hey Fritz,  I see you came in a little worse for wear today at this place. Why don't you come on over to the table at Misty's Place and join Spud, Navman, Dan, Dusty and ol Beaverdriver in a round or two, or three. It's on the house so you better enjoy before my money runs out!!

Hiccup! See you at Misty's. This bar here where we've been chatting at is now closed. Off to Misty's Place.
