Help and Troubleshooting / Re: Bella coola
« on: September 08, 2019, 08:10:18 AM »
I am getting the problem on the faq page with the hills on side of runways. I thought I had cured it but it came back again. I am still checking but my install is very old and I did not want to wast any ones time. Was hoping for a quick fix or pointer

Pictures really do help greatly.  You're saying that your Homer airport has hills/cliffs on the sides of the tarmac?  Is that right?  Have you tried the Orbx Vector airport elevation correction program?

RTMM Site Maintenance Log, Bella Coola Marine V2.

Ahhhh, ... gotcha!   ;)   Bella Coola Marine v2.0.  That is in the "shipping" section, as it is AI boat traffic files.  Here is a link ...  :)

As near as I can tell, Bella Coola is an Orbx airport developed by Russ White.  I don't see any v2 of it.  I can't find any RTMM references to scenery in CYBD, so not sure if we have anything there.  Only flight plans, etc.   :-\

Why would CYBD affect PAHO?  They are very far apart, geographically.   ???

What problem are you having?  Can you post a picture of what you are seeing?  Why do you think you're missing something, etc.?

Danny, what maintenance log are you referring to?

Hi Doug,

So happy that Dorian has passed and that you had no problem at your house.  I hope it continues to stay off shore.

Ditto  ;)  8)

On mine it looks like this ...

Your OAT gauge may be different, or in a different location.  (... just sayin' )  ;)

OAT Gauge in Lower right corner.  ::)

(I know I rearranged my gauges, but can't remember if I replaced any.  I think that one is default.)  :-\

Yes, thanks.  I found the site unreachable yesterday, and kinda got worried.  I'm OK now.  Thanks for letting us know you are doing stuff.   :o ;D ;) :) 8)

Beautiful flight.  I love the picture of the volcano at the bottom.  Looks like she lost her top.   :o ;) 8)

This thread should be moved to the website discussions.  (also the BWEP readme thread, too)

It says $20 for Alaska, but you can get the whole planet for $40 (on sale now).  It also says is compatible with Orbx and TFX.  ;)

Thanks Sue.   8)

Clicking on Steve's link gave me a 404 error page.
Following his instructions and navigating to the link and clicking it also gave a 404 error.
Clicking on Doug's link and scrolling down to the link and clicking it produced a downloaded zip.

Scratching my head now.   ???

When I clicked on Dieter's link another tab opened in my browser with a pdf displayed on it.  Seems to work for me.  :P
I just checked the link itself, clicking on it.  It works for me also.   :o

The "Readme" in question says this: (looks better though.)  ;)

NOTE: If you DO NOT have the BWEP pipeline project installed, then you may
safely disregard this Read Me.
The guidance given herein is for users who already have the BWEP pipeline
project installed and wish to update their files.
To properly update your files, it is essential to DELETE the 5 folders listed
below because some file names have not changed in the update and you will see
‘double objects’ if you simply ‘overwrite’ them. ‘Deleting’ these folders
ensures you will not experience this.
 BWEP Richardson Highway_01.27.2017
 BWEP SAK_02.06.2017
 RTMM BWEP Dalton Highway
 RTMM BWEP The Interior
Preferred method:
 delete these folders from the Scenery Library in the sim
 delete these folders from where you have them stored
After you have deleted the folders using the method described above, download
the 5 ‘zip’ files listed below from the BWEP page and extract the contents to
where you store your add on scenery folders.
 BWEP Airports*
 BWEP SAK Pipeline
 BWEP Richardson Highway
 BWEP The Interior
 BWEP Dalton Highway
* You will need to select package ‘A’ or ‘B’ [see guidance on the BWEP page
as to which package to download].
Add the new scenery folders to your sim’s Addon Scenery\RTMM\ folder and the
Scenery Library. ‘Activate’ by starting your sim.
Check that you have the BWEP Object Library [30 May 2017] installed, if not,
it can be downloaded from the BWEP page.
