It does work at PAKT - but the downside is it completely screws up all the Tongass floatplanes and boats.

I had the broken pipe segments too.
Finally figured out I some how got an earlier version.
Go to the BWEP page and re-download the "BWEP Gates of the Arctic v1"

The copy I got on 12/4/2019 didn't have the v1 in the title.
Comparing the Chandalar Shelf file in the two versions they are a different size so something changed when the official version was announced.

Ha, need to read Doug's NOTAMs ::)

I see that on the 6th there was an announcement about a bunch of BWEP fixes - including the Gates....

This actually happened to one of the Alaska Marine Highway Ferries (Taku I think).
They were making the turn to go into Prince Rupert and ran smack up into an island.
I tried google to see if I could find the picture but so far no luck...
It was a while back...

found a write-up of the "incident" but no pictures:

The Taku also suffered an even worse accident in 1970, when it ran aground on West Kinihan Island near Prince Rupert after missing the turn into the harbor. Photos of the time show the vessel with its bow up into the trees on the small island. Passengers and most of the vehicles were offloaded onto the Canadian ferry Queen of Prince Rupert, and for time it was thought the Taku might capsize, but it was safely pulled off the island and went to drydock under its own power.

I have installed this program and been checking things out.
Thought everything was working great until I noticed that the boat wakes on all the tongass and halibut cove boats somehow got screwed up and are not working correctly.

Not absolutely sure it was caused by the lights program - but that was the only thing I have done/changed.
So be cautious if you want to give it a try.

OK, I finally tracked it down to a feature of the Professional version that allows you to select between Default P3D, UHD, and 4K optimization.
When you select 4K ( I have a 4K screen) it completely borks the wakes on the older Tongass boats and the Halibut Cove boats.
Don't know if there is a solution to the 4K problem, but reverting back to Default P3D fixed it.
Don't want to talk about how long it took me to figure this one out  >:(

 It means they have declared their wake effects as LIGHTS. Also check if their category is boat and no airplanes, have seem that before.

Not much I can do to help here.. Since P3D 4.5 all effects declared as lights will be treated differently by the GPU card. What my setting does is take advantage of this and use it to scale lights more close to real world operations.

If this really bothers you, you can use AILRP with the default P3D scaling algorithms. That is why the setting is there for.

Hi RCFlyer,
I can confirm the ORBX PAVD version that is on the RTMM site now doesn't display properly.

There seems to be a mixup with the files that are in the BWEP SAK Pipeline folder and the BWEP Airports Payware PAVD folder.
I say this because before the latest upgrade, using "RTMM BWEP SAK v2 for PAVD by ORBX" every thing worked as it should - pipeline was all connected and the buildings at the airport displayed correctly.

Now the disjointed pipes and the mis-mash of the buildings at the airport.

Maybe Brad needs to take a look.... :)

Hope this isn't something you and me have messed up in out installs, ::)

I was updated to the 0.13 version (on Friday the 13th :() and checked insertion points and all was well.
This morning I noticed ORBX Global Vector was no longer working.

Long story short I finally uninstalled it and reinstalled into the main folder - got it back but now I have to disable all the elevation problems again. Is there a list here on RTMM of the airports that need to be disabled?

Hi Jeff,
You should go to the Campbell River Aerodrome and look in front of the Corlair float - you will probably see the green MM plane sitting there sunk up to its wings....

The only solution is to use Rod's new file that removes the plane at Halibut Cove - at least for me.

That works for me. :)

I did try turning the corlair plane off - and I got the green plane at Halibut - Campbell River I got the green plane sunk up to it's wings. :o
Anyway it's all sorted now..

Except I noticed ORBX just upgraded their Central to 4.0.12 and you have the option of more insertion points for their scenery - which could be very dangerous...

Recognize this plane?
It's part of Larry Robinsons Campbell River Scenery - so assume it's in his object library.
How does your Halibut Cove grab a plane from Larry's Object Library?

Actually it's not in his Object Library - I used the Lorby addon organizer to move his library below all the rtmm libraries and the red plane was still there at Halibut cove.

So I took a look at his Campbell River (CAE) scenery and the red plane is in it's scenery folder as Corlair_DHC2_static.bgl - so I turned it off and sure enough I get the right green plane at Halibut Cove.

I'll let you try to sort this one out - maybe a layering thing introduced by the new ORBX Central 4 in prepar3d??
