The pleasure was all mine. The work you are putting in on the site, the scenery, the missions, and all the write-ups is really appreciated. I know I'm having a blast with them, and I know others are as well.

Having documented my crash landing abilities, I thought I'd share one that didn't end quite as tragically. Such fun flying into these great places!

I'm Tivo'ing it, but unfortunately seem to have missed episode number two. They seem to be replaying all but that one unless I want to buy it on Amazon.   :o

I'll be heading hear right after a stop at Nisga'a Glacial Lake Lodge. It's on my way from Lavender (which is all fixed up by the way, mea culpa) and I would be remiss if I didn't pay a visit there first. Keep up the good work folks.

I'm very partial to the Sibwings Birddog, and the A2A Cub.

Well Mr. Aaron, I as well enjoy only flying in the season at hand and it makes you sit a bit closer to your screen to see. The terrian of PJF is nothing but a joy to fly in any season or weather, of course this is only virtual and not RL.   :)

Mighty fine shots and love the video...remimds me of my landings.  If I recall correct, that is the Birddog you are flying and she looks perfect in all that terrain.

Indeed it is my friend. FS affords us the luxury of taking the risks we would never take in RL. And you are correct about the Birddog. It has become one of my all time favorites.

Great shots Aaron. BTW you wouldn't be the same Aaron Myers from FTG would ya?  ;D

Ed "CO652"

Thanks Ed, and indeed one and the same.  ;)

So I like to fly in the current season, with real time weather, and sometimes that produces some interesting results when you fly in places like the Pacific Fjords in the winter. What can I say, I get to see all seasons that way, but sometimes I have to sacrifice and aircraft or two. This was one of those occasions.

Hopefully the number of shots here isn't too much, but there is also a landing video documenting my peril for those who wish to point and laugh. Enjoy.   ;D

Landing video goodness, despite my small scenery issue which I'm sure will get worked out.

Yes, installed and active. And floating as in the runway is showing above the ground level. I can park the plane on the runway floating above the scenery and drive right off the cliff and fall down to the rest of the scenery. It was hard to get a shot that illustrated it.

I do have FSGenesis installed into the default location, and also have Tongass Fjords layered above all the ORBX entries, with RTMM scenery above that. Guess I'll have to try disabling a few other things and see if it affects anything.

Ok, so there's improvement. I redid the insertion point through FTX Central and the mesh and scenery now look correct with the exception of the runway. I now have a floating runway. I did apply FSX default and then back to North America, but the floating runway persists.

Landing at Lavender Lake Lodge tonight I noticed this apparent elevation issue. Admittedly this was not the only place I noticed mesh oddities, but this is a pretty good example of it. I am using FS Genesis mesh, could that be causing conflicts? Any thoughts as to what else could be the culprit? I have mesh resolution set at 5m.

Later I'll be posting a video of how NOT to land here.   ;D

Addon Scenery and Enhancements / Scenery Library Entries

Hello all,

Just checking out the site and things really look fantastic. Really looking forward to doing some more exploring and taking advantage of the work you guys have put in here. Congrats on that.

Question though. Do we have to make separate scenery library entries for each location, or is it possible to make one super folder, possibly titled "RTMM Scenery", and put everything into it? Just looking to consolidate where I can.

Thanks again!
