Help and Troubleshooting / Re: Kacars issue
« on: June 04, 2019, 06:53:54 AM »
Thank you for the welcome Norm, and for the reply. Yes i though that might be the case, that this problem is unique to my rig as i found 0 info about this problem online. This computer only runs FSX and nothing else, so antivirus is not even installed, fsuipc is installed and working fine as far as i see, also reinstaled cigarbox but no success. It all seems i just might have to uninstall everything and put it back up as a last resort though. Ill try that run as admin all the time thing, ill report if that or anything else worked.

thanks,

Miha

Help and Troubleshooting / Kacars issue
« on: June 03, 2019, 03:04:01 PM »
Hey guys,
been a long time since i was last here, so i finally managed to get the sim back up and running again and was so excited o get back to the club, but i am fighting this kacars issue. Whenever i start kacars my sim goes from ok to very bad twiching constantly and i have been unable to identify the cause of this. Its making me very sad beacuse now i have to fly all alone in my sim:) which is half the fun lost:). The very exact same thing happens with the AKA bluebox so something must be wrong in general with this kacars thingy...
Though i have already installed all the addons which took me like 2 days and then,at the end of course, i stumbled upon this problem, i would gladly reinstall all of fsx if i would know that would solve the issue, but i hope someone here might have some info what and why this is happening. I was running win7, issue was present at the very start and with fresh copy of windows with almost nothing else installed on this rig. I upgraded then to win7 SP1, fsx as it seems runs the same as before the update, but unfortunately the kacars problem persists...
Please help me:), i am hugely annoyed by this and already missed like 30hrs of flight:)...

thank you for any info...

i definitely second what was mentioned above, the tours are great fun,not just fun,but challenging too,so all and all a great experience. It takes quite some time and work to get all the scenery together and i have yet to finish, because RTMM has so much of it,but its well worth it when u set up the approach and dive in.

Great job for the tours and the sceneries and all kinds of enhancements coming from this club and RTMM all together.

the weather i can take, the visibility however...usually under 10 miles, good if your at 1500",not so much above that, tours especially are most effected, because i usually havent been at those location and if u are flying without gps, visibility suddenly becomes a huge issue.

Misty Flying Club and Multi Player / Re: Landing rates
« on: May 29, 2018, 07:32:50 PM »
Hi,
just my 2 cents, i always got another freeware for landings called LOLA on when flying and i must say,KACARS is ALWAYS almost spot on for the landing, unfortunately a little less accurate with pitch, but within +-1 degrees, but u must be careful not to drop from the sky while floating and greasing above ground or water with your speed quickly decreasing.

And it doesn't necesserely mean that if u have 300fpm landing rate, that is gonna actually relate to your specific plane and its characteristics and then take into account also the way you percive the landing(your feeling). Accu Feel helps with those kind of issues, especcialy if u set it for each plane u fly and dont change them all the time or not at all.

Good way to practice this "landing feeling" is to just make a couple of patterns around the airfield trying different landings(soft,hard,greased,low-stall speed, high speed) and see how they feel.

I usually never try to grease it as that leds to all kinds of things, i can assure you, that if u make a proper and stable approach,u wont even have the need to grease or flare to much because the plane will be exactly where u want it to be,just a nudge of flare and should be ok, the landing is just a reward for things u have been doing before the landing. If u have a stable 200-400 fpm approach to begin with, it can only get better from there.

Hi,
is there any way in the cigar box or website to see the flight numbers by selecting departure or anything similar?
