Screenshots / Dusk Emergency at Owikeno Lake
« on: March 02, 2018, 11:44:47 PM »
Touring BWEP execs at the newly updated Owikeno Lake area...for some R&R until one of them got too excited, stripped down and dove from the Blackhawk unto some shallow rocks of the river bank near Wuikinuxv Falls while my copter was hovering about 30-40 ft. AWL resulting to some compound fractures... Had to airlift him to nearby Machmel Village Trauma Center  :-[

Help and Troubleshooting / Missing Helipad at Black Rapids Losge
« on: December 31, 2016, 01:37:53 PM »
After updating to the latest BWEP objects library and doing a short helo flight from Paxson airfield to Black Rapids Lodge, I observed the helipad beside the airstrip is now missing. It was there before the library update. Also, the building beside the supposed helipad is now smaller and some snow mounds near it are floating in the air despite running Vector configurator. Was the helipad removed and building changed? Just wondering. :-\

Misty's Place / Alaska's Call of the Wild
« on: October 03, 2016, 08:04:59 PM »
Thought of sharing a phenomenal 52-min. aerial documentary from the authoritative Smithsonian channel if it hasn't been posted here. Very informative and briefly highlights the last frontier's history, geography, wildlife and events like the popular Idatirod race and for those who don't know the legendary bush pilot Don Sheldon, survivalist Chris McCandless or the "Idatirod Air Force", among others.  Sit back and relax.. :)

Another cool RTMM masterpiece..  Congrats and thanks for the superb job guys! Keep it up! 8)

Just some random screenies from a rotorhead's perspective...(since not all fly it! ;D)

Nice to have a UIR (unmanned intelligent rotorcraft) as your wingman during routine pipeline inspections  ;)

This injured dude's lucky that the medevac emergency happened during my watch.. :)

This one's appears riddled with bullet holes probably from some crazy hunter nearby, huh!  :o

Excellent bird's eye view from up here.. :P

Looking forward to more challenging dispatches and/or mission offerings to make our wanderings more exciting!

Screenshots / LCS Landing Wager
« on: May 04, 2016, 03:16:12 AM »
A visiting stealth LCS (littoral combat ship) skipper who was doing a 42-knot manuevering exercise wagered a treat if I can land my $7M++ helo on his deck helipad safely without plunging into the water near Vancouver Island, BC. Guess who ended paying up for the tab after one swoop with the MistyHawk?  ;) ;D

Hello RTMM team and/or Brad A.,

After an SSD upgrade, I had a complete reinstall my FSX DX10 and RTMM addons, among others. I decided to put all my Legacy Collection sceneries in separate folders for easier troubleshooting and updating. However, I noticed that the following Legacy Collection scenery "separate" ZIP downloads have the same content:

a) George Inlet Cannery (Version 2.0)(Updated 02.06.11)
b) Nina's Landing (Updated 02.01.2016**)
I would only need to install one, not both (to avoid redundancy) right?  ??? Just need clarification. Thanks!

Misty's Place / Tesla of Fixed Wings
« on: September 20, 2015, 01:22:38 AM »
If you have a quarter million bucks to spare, a sport pilot's license (at least) and a significant other (if you have) who might be thrilled to be your passenger/co-pilot, you can have one of these so-called "Tesla of fixed wings" and possibly a future trend of sporty bushflying? Think and see... the ICON A5  8)  :P  ;)

Misty's Place / Ketchikan: The Bush Pilots

Misty's Place / Misty's Place Bar
« on: February 08, 2015, 10:33:30 PM »
I didn't know there's another Misty's branch in Springfield, MO.. I hope they serve halibut grilled sandwiches as sumptuous as those in PF20.. Darn! They don't accept plastics, cash only!  :P

Misty's Place / Flight Sim Reality

Addon Scenery and Enhancements / CIRP AI Hovercraft
« on: January 06, 2015, 08:08:54 PM »
After a tedious complete reinstall of FSX Gold (DX9) and RTMM, I tried also installing the CIRP's AI Hovercraft enhancement the first time to see it in action. While buzzing around default CZST, I noticed the red hovercraft skimming near the inlet but without any wakes trailing behind. Funny thing is the nearby, much slower cruise liner left wakes behind. Is this normal and what you guys see in FSX or just me? ???
