Prepar3D-Version 4 / PACX & RTMM
« on: October 04, 2019, 09:56:26 AM »
I was just curious if anyone has taken the plunge and invested in PACX and wondered how well it worked with RTMM scenery? With the most recent update to their product they recently added a career mode which seems similar to what FSPassengers used to be with FSX.

My concern around compatibility with RTMM locations is that PACX can do automated announcements of departure and landing airports. Since these are custom scenery locations I was unsure if the software would be able to detect them or not?

If anyone has experience with the product or currently uses it I would be curious to hear what your experience has been with the most recent major update. For those of you unfamiliar with it here's a post about it on FSElite;

Help and Troubleshooting / Re: AN-2 Engine Failures

Anyone know if it's possible to turn off the failures with the AT-Simulations bird?

Agreed thanks so much! This has given me enough opportunity to learn the plane that I can start re-implementing the failure system without worrying of falling out of the sky.

Out of curiosity do you guys happen to know if this is also possible for the new ATSimulations aircraft? I wasn't able to find a config file, so I'm almost wondering if the failures are "baked" into the aircraft .mdl file itself?

Help and Troubleshooting / AN-2 Engine Failures

Greetings folks. I'm just curious if anyone has any idea on how disable engine failures on the new siblings AN-2 or the octopus-g version? I know the standard response is going to be "fly it by the book". I'm just curious if it was possible to disable this feature?

Help and Troubleshooting / Cera 212 & 412 Heli

Greetings all,

WAs just curious if anyone still had the improved prop blur textures or improved handling files from hovercontrol for the Cearsim 212 & 412 helis. It appears these files were only hosted on hovercontrol so I have no way of procuring them at this point.

Prepar3D-Version 4 / TF AI Files
« on: March 05, 2019, 08:56:34 AM »
Greetings all,

So I have successfully installed TF, all the MM Libraries and a boatload of scenery from the library and everything looks awesome! However, I'm now at the stage where I would like to begin adding in the AI packages from RTMM. Unfortunately, the TF AI are not listed in my simobjects/airplanes folder. I'm thinking this is likely being caused by the TF Installer AI selector not functioning properly after install, so it did not install them to my simulator.

Has anyone else encountered this or is there another solution that I should be looking into?

Prepar3D-Version 4 / Doug's Hawaii in P3D v4.4?
« on: February 18, 2019, 11:58:52 AM »
Greetings friends,

I was just curious if anyone has been using Doug's Hawaii in p3d 4.4? I'm a little hesitant to install and use it after a quick forum search saw last mention of it was in 2017  :-\

Prepar3D-Version 4 / ProATCX and Misty Moorings
« on: March 31, 2018, 05:37:53 PM »
Has anyone had any success getting the Misty Moorings airports to show up in ProATCX. I've tried using the />0 and /Water line for the makerwys.exe and the application still hasn't been able to recognize the airports.

Did you all individually add each location?

I'm happy also to take recommendations of any non-default ATC program you all use. I have VOX ATC and that works pretty well.

Prepar3D-Version 4 / RTMM P3dV4.2 AI Enhancements
« on: March 22, 2018, 11:06:59 AM »
Greetings Friends,

I know the AI Aircraft for Tongass X was updated to work with P3dv4, along with the garabage and mega yacht. Was just curious if the other AI enhancement packages were safe to download and use in P3dv4.2?

I looked around to see some compatibility list but didn't see any notices that it wouldn't work.

General Discussion / Re: REX Skyforce 3D
« on: March 20, 2018, 09:14:29 AM »
I agree with all that has been said. I was on the Skyforce hype train when it was announced and throughout the lengthy development period. Since its release and subsequent bugs I have moved back to AS16 with ASCA, and Envtex.

I think what has become clear with Skyforce is that its one of a series of products that they will be releasing that will provide a comprehensive package. From my understanding Skyforce + Weatherforce + Environmentforce could equate to the same/similar features of AS16 + ASCA.

After being a long-time fan of REX Products I was very disappointed with what I perceived to be a fairly misleading marketing campaign.

Prepar3D-Version 4 / Here2There: Missions
« on: February 28, 2018, 09:24:57 AM »
Greetings All,

I was just curious if there were any updates on progress of missions into P3Dv4 or the probability of this ever occuring. I know there is a TON on the plates of RTMM staff right now so no pressure. Just curious  :D

Prepar3D-Version 4 / Helicopter Trim/Autopilot for P3dv4
« on: December 11, 2017, 10:15:24 AM »
Hi friends,

I was curious if anyone knew where I could find a helicopter trim/autopilot gauge for p3dv4. I know that there were a few for p3dv3 and FSX but from my understanding they won't work on the 64 bit platform. Any help would be appreciated!

It's actually compatible with V4 too :) Does anyone know if this version is compatible with the skin that's available on our website? It looks to me like Aerosoft basically took over the old model by Sibwings but I can't be sure.
