Misty Flying Club and Multi Player / Re: Cigar Box on client?
« on: April 25, 2019, 07:21:40 AM »
I have been running Cigar Box on a client computer using WideFS since first installing it and it works fine. However, I use FSX-SE on my main computer (not P3D).

I also run all my other software on the client including: Active Sky Next & Plan-G which frees up all the resources for FSX

Object Libraries for RTMM / Re: SCENERY.DAT file error
« on: March 27, 2019, 12:26:29 PM »
After several reboots, it appears that the scenery was re-indexed and the error has disappeared.  Not sure why that wasn't happening for me yesterday, because I'm fairly certain that I did a re-boot, which is my "go-to solution" for most any computer problem. :)

Thanks for your time Steve!

I'm guessing that you deleted fsxp3d lfwwkbr1 from your HDD and didn't remove it from the scenery library list in FSXSE.

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your response.

I checked my objects library (EZ Scenery Library) and have fsxp3d lfwwkbr1.bgl and fsxp3d lfwwkbr1.txt, so it wasn't removed from my HDD.

Any other ideas?

Object Libraries for RTMM / SCENERY.DAT file error
« on: March 26, 2019, 04:56:09 PM »
I have the latest UPDATE for RTMM required  FSXP3D Libraries Part IV_3.21.19  installed.
When I installed the add-on scenery Ocean Falls today, I got the following error when I start up FSX-SE:

SCENERY.DAT file error.  Close Flight Simulator and
delete 'addon scenery\rtmm\object libraries\ez
scenery libraryfsxp3d\scenery\fsxp3d lfwwkbr1'.
Click OK to continue.

Thanks Norm for the thorough explanation!

I will take your advice and install everything that I don't already have installed. I have Tours 1-10 sceneries still installed and updated with refresh.  A little extra work now saves time in the long run.

Never had so much fun with flight sim!

Misty Flying Club and Multi Player / Scenery requirements for MFC0011
« on: March 19, 2019, 05:51:16 PM »
I'm getting ready for MFC0011 after completing the first 10 Tours.  Am I reading the instructions correctly that I need to install all the RTMM sceneries that I haven't installed yet?  (Not including northern Alaska and Vancouver).

Thanks,
Steve
