Website Discussion / Dispatch 018 Flight-Seeing Flight Plans
« on: November 22, 2014, 10:07:50 PM »
Hello Gents,

where can I find the Flight-Seeing Flight Plans for Dispatch 018?
The links for the FPLs in Dispatch 018 are broken, at least for me!
Thanks for the help.
Cheers Rainer

Hallo Team,

Halibut Cove is incredible, thanks a lot to all who created the scenery.
I´ve just installed the scenery, now I´m reading the manual and the backround infos (phantastic add-on to the add-on!), then I´m flying to Halibut Cove as proposed.
I´m excited to explore this beautiful piece of art.
Thanks again to all...and keep on the outstanding work!
Cheers Rainer

Addon Scenery and Enhancements / Re: No Skagway floaters
« on: May 10, 2013, 01:20:13 AM »
Hi folks,

I use the enhancement file (Skagway Enhancements.bgl) and it works perfect (NO trees growing through houses etc.). I haven´t had floating houses before. Just try and see..

General Discussion / Re: Major problem after trying to download SAK
« on: March 24, 2013, 11:53:48 AM »
Hi Spud, sorry to hear about your problems!
Perhaps this may help to get back your FF profile:
Go to: Computer/OS(C:)[or where your OS is on]/User/"your name"/AppData[you must have "show hidden files" enabled]/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles: there you´ll find a folder named something like this: 2hjwnice.default.
Copy that folder at/to the exact same place in your NEW installed FF. Rename the EQUIVALENT folder of the NEW FF-installation to "......default_OFF".
Now rename the copied/old profile folder (something like this: 2hjwnice.default; see above) to exact the name of the NEW installation profile folder (that one you renamed to ".....default_OFF"), but WITHOUT the_OFF appendix!
Close everything, open your new FF; everthing should be back!
Hope this helps and GOOD LUCK!

Hi Brad, hi Xavier,

nice configurations. But for the PSU I would suggest a little more power (especially you Brad!) and always the best money can buy (NO compromises when it comes to power supply!) I would suggest the 1000 Watt Seasonic Platinum Series Modular 80+ Platin.

I second Xavier for a second HDD for backups (may be with Acronis True Image) and storage!

Cheers Rainer

Oh yes... btw choose a full size tower for far better airflow thus far better cooling all Mobo areas!

Addon Scenery and Enhancements / Re: Gilbert Bay released
« on: January 01, 2013, 12:19:28 PM »
Hello Xavier,

I know. But there is a sound file FX_DetnaCreek_Sound.bgl. Just a thought because Brian mentioned the  FX_Gilbertbay_Sound.bgl. (I found out the file that was causing me problems--it was FX_Gilbertbay_Sound.bgl. Once I removed that, the scenery works just great.).

Sorry for any inconvenience.
Cheers Rainer

Hello Xavier, hello Brian,

may be I can add another experience which may help to solve this problem.
When I fly the Barnstormer-Scenery between Tetachuk Lake and Detna Creek, and I come closer to the hill where the Fire Tower is up, the sim freeze and the image gets grayed out for a few seconds. What happens with the sound at that moment I can´t remember anymore; I never mind about that minor issue, I just didn´t fly in that particular area anymore for that reason. When I do things like clicking with my mouse into the image or try to change the view, there is a chance to overcome that and the sim is fluid again (sorry for my english!). I tried this a couple of times, always the same and ONLY in that area, no one else in the vast areas of RTMM or ORBX land! that are the only areas I fly in.
Hope, this may help a little bit to solve the problem! Cause I took a look insight the scenery folder and there are too a couple of FX_xxx_sound.bgl files
And by the way, thanks for your phantastic sceneries Xavier.

AND a happy new year to all here at RTMM (phantastic site and fabulous work!)
Cheers Rainer

General Discussion / Re: Transfer RTMM folders vs. new installation

Hello Jeff, Corbu ( grias´di; although I´m not a native Bavarian, I was born in Frankfurt, lived a long time in Mainz), GrayRider, and all the others,

(after a little while) thanks for your gentle commnents concerning your good German experiences and your congratulations for the new system.
I did it how Jeff suggested, transferrred all the RTMM-sceneries to the new rig (World\scenery-,effects-, sound-files too). After some minor querries, everything is fine now and I´m up-to-date with everything.
Nevertheless I didn´t at all have time to fly, but in the future I will  ;D ;D.
At least when  my new little "flying-room" (not a cockpit, just a little room in our house beneath the roofgarden ) is ready. Our "chief-"craftsman and I will do the work within the next few weeks.
A the moment  only a little  makeshift place with the new rig, just for doing the (sofware-) installations and customize the maschine.
Sorry for being lengthy
Happy flying  (and if possiblein RTMM area always clear skies)

Good night Jeff (it´s getting dark here in Augsburg, Germany),
thanks for the quick answer and the congratulations.
That are really good news, I will do that way and report back how it works!
 Have a nice day!

General Discussion / Transfer RTMM folders vs. new installation
« on: July 08, 2012, 10:22:50 AM »
I´v a brandnew rig, with new OS (WIN7/64) installation, new installation of FSX etc...
Can I just transfer my RTMM folders and the needed Libraries to the Addon Scenery Folder in the new FSX installation, then activate it one by one in the FSX-Scenery-Lib
have I go the long way and install everything one by one again? (Would be a rather long way, cause I´ve  nearly all (?))

Thanks in advance

By the way, thanks again for the brillant work and the beautiful sceneries and all the other stuff. It opens a totally new dimension for my flight simming experience.
