Title: All the scenery, all at once...
Post by: Foxtrot789 on November 22, 2011, 01:27:59 PM
Is there anyone that has, or anyone that could advise me on how I could obtain, ALL the RTTM scenery without having to download each file individually.  Just the contents that would be found in the 'zip' file.

I understand all the potential issues with troubleshooting a problematic file that's been installed; but I've never encountered a faulty add-on from this site and after rebuilding the comp/sim from a crashed (and completely inaccessible) hard drive; i've spent enough time tinkering around with the little stuff.

Thanks in advance,
Trevor

Trevor,
you will just have to bite the bullet and download the files again as there is no master file.  Each scenery is a very small download that goes quickly so the time factor is not that great.  If you download one or two at a time, install those and explore the scenery as you go then the task is enjoyable because your exploring the PFJ area.   The files contain the scenery, Instructions, and flight plan to find the field plus some screen shots so they are not difficult to do and If someone did combine everything into one folder and send it to you then there would be no support due to a non standard file/install if you have problems.

Ya, I figured as much and appreciate the reply.  It's not so much the speed but rather the quantity of files to deal with.  I can dump them all into one folder and search for ".bgl" then extract 'em all at once.

I've downloaded and flown into and out of each and every scenery that was available through September-ish.  I love 'em all and want them all again - this is rays of sunshine compared to all my lost custom textures, though :(

Thanks for the advice and more importantly, thanks for the wonderful scenery.  :)
