Hey everyone, it's been a long time since I dropped by here and I hope everyone is doing well. I figured you'd all be interested to hear that yesterday I passed my PPL checkride! I flew a CAP 172 out of Merrill Field and it all went very smoothly. With my license in hand, I plan to transition into a Super Cub and build up experience with my license-to-learn in the great state of Alaska.
If any of you come up to Anchorage this summer (or any time really), I would be more than happy to fly you around the area. It would be a great privilege to do that as FSX and this community really sparked my interest to pursue aviation. You can send me an email at flyinginak @ gmail.com and let me know your plans.

Hi Ryan ...
Congratulations!!! That's a great accomplishment. If I were heading that way, I'd take you up on the offer. (You could always drop down to Hilton Head and pick me up :-).
Safe Flying, great to hear from you.

Thanks for the well wishing everyone. I did drop off there as I stopped with flight simulator when I flew real aircraft more (was having trouble switching back and forth). I hope people are still enjoying my scenery, it was fun to come up with those very extensive backstories.
I'll do my best to keep you guys updated with milestones and fun pictures and videos of my flying. Looks like it's going to be a great summer!
