Excellent Robert. Can you please share your HDR settings? Are you using EnvShade?

Hej Kaha,

I am using the enhanced atmospheric weather within P3Dv5.

Have everything checked here and set to max except cloud draw distance which is set to the middle 80 mi.

Cloud quality is looking great, really a improvement in fact never seen  a better flight environment in V4 .5 even with REX Enhancements and PTA in my opinion.

The environment has more depth Using the real sky feature ( I guess it’s called ) on my setup anyway in comparison than with V4.5  and my Orbx products.

Within P3dV5

Brightness 0,90

Bloom slider set at 0,30

Saturation 1,0

Dynamic Reflection set to Ultra

all other sliders set to Max or Ultra

Will be awesome days ahead once ActiveSky and REX get upgraded V5!

Right.

I'm missing PTA because of its ambient and diffuse lighting models for the sun and the moon.

Don't need pta now.  Or Rex clouds really.. v5 looks fine as is in that regard. But that .90 brightness a bit bright for my eyes. Brightness is different from v4.5 to v5. (Dx11 to dx 12) so fing that v5 is much brighter. In  v5 Try brightness .55, bloom .20, and saturation ..90-95.  HDR on. Looks good.

But as always to each their own eyes.. lol

Norm, can not agree more than to each their own eyes.  Different screens GFX cards and probably lots of other variables causes us to use these adjustments to achieve picture quality to our personal liking.

Did you feel  the video I posted looks washed out or maybe dark with my settings
Would be fun if you posted a small video as I did showing what yours looks like with your settings.
I was just flying over mountains in the PFJ area and watching my VRam

... I am looking forward to ActiveSky for V5.

Great you are enjoying V5 as well.  :)

Loved that Harrison syndrome landing!

That was brilliant how you showed your settings Karl.   I will do the same and post in this thread when time allows.

Hope some  others do the same.

Thank you Jeff. This file holds some scenery on the way from Tipella to Pemberton, see the red waypoints on the map. It is not the scenery for Tipella.

It appears to me, on my sim at least, that CBB7 (the airstrip) is part of Orbx PNW regional scenery.   I also have elements from Vancouver Plus v3 for CBB7, from FSaddon.
     Will it all work in P3Dv5?  ???  (I don't have v5 yet.)
