Title: ADDING TO an RTMM Flight Plan for a longer flight

Many of our flight plans are short ones that keep you at about 1200 feet.  Something you may want to try that will give you a different "view" of RTMM is ADDING TO a flight plan.  Recently I posted the Fortaleza Ridge Cabin. The flight plan for it starts from View Cove and flies at 1200 feet for about 30 miles to the cabin.  But to enjoy a longer flight and at higher altitudes, put in the flight plan for Fortaleza Ridge Cabin, then start at Misty's Place PF20. 

Get to altitude outside of Bostwick Inlet, then turn on your autopilot for the "Fortaleza Ridge Cabin from View Cove" flight plan. It will take you to View Cove where you will pick up with the flight plan. At View Cove, drop to 1200 feet for the rest of the trip.

You can do this with many of our flight plans if you'd like to fly a little higher and longer.  So if there is a 15 mile flight that you would like to be 50 miles ... start at an airport farther away and let the autopilot "fly to" the start of the flight plan.
