Title: P3Dv3.3 Released
Post by: dexthom on June 02, 2016, 09:20:49 AM
Installing the new client will probably break Instant Scenery, AS Weather and Orbx Object Flow dll files.

EDIT: The word from Orbx is positive, installing the new client doesn't break the Object Flow dll file.  It will break ASN and probably Instant Scenery.

EDIT: P3Dv3.3 is Orbx compatible and so is ASN SP5 Beta

PRO: This new version of P3d (v.3.3) works fine for me and the upgrade was really easy (from v.3.2). Just follow LM instructions.
CON: after just a few tests I frankly do not see much difference with the former version...

Orbx and ASN Beta 5 updated, IS3 will probably be awhile like usual.

ASN SP5 Beta and Orbx has been updated for P3Dv3.3.5.  IS 3 will come around sooner or later.

I have MM in FSX all ok.

I just installed P3Dv3.3.5.

Can I use my FSX MM folders/file, sounds. Fx files in P3Dv3.3.5?

Basically, just point P3D scenery (ADD) scenery to that I am using in FSX (my F drive) now?
Then copy the sounds and Fx Effects file to P3D sound and effects folders.

Just to verify there are no new P3Dv3.3.5 specific MM files I need?

Thanks ...

I can't think of anything in RTMM that is specific to P3Dv3.3.5

Nope.  Since the library conversion update, all is P3D compatible.  Thanks for asking, and for using the RTMM scenery for you simming experience.  It should work just fine (or better) in P3D.  ;)
