I manually installed TFX into P3D3 - I have one issue.
The AI boats and helicopter do not display. The scenery is fine, the AI aircraft (Dash) etc work fine but the CG crusier etc do not.
I also use MyTraffic6 for AI traffic.
I have used AIFP to check schedules, convert any FS9 files, moved the traffic bgl's into the World/Scenery folder.
The AI ships are there in the proper folder - they just do not display.
I've read a few posts here and don't see the specific problem.
I tried moving the boats and rotorcraft AI into the actual P3D3 simobjects folders. I tried moving the traffic bgl files from HigherPriority into World/scenery.
In FSX, if I go to A29 at 11AM local time I can see and hear the Anacapa moving out. Same plpace and time in P3D3 - I see and hear nothing.
Any ideas why just the boats/helo's do not show?

Well. I resolved it but still don't know why it happened. I ran AIFP against the traffic bgl's and the vessel and rotorcraft listed the AI but they were flagged with a red X. I just browsed to the location of the AI and associated them with the bgl plan - all worked fine.
I guess the question in my mind is why did they DISassociate in the first place.
IAC, if this solution helps another frustrated installer I'm glad.
I have my T back and I'm a happy camper.

thanks for youir input. I had the same problem with helids but the vessels were ok. Checked as you described PASI / A29 11 am. Works.
But I don't see any wake effects of this big vessel in p3dv3,1. Are you seeing it?
Small boats in the same area have it.

No, I don 't see the wake either, even with water at ultra.
