Title: P3D 2.4 update
Post by: Bradallen43 on October 02, 2014, 01:54:55 PM
Folks,

Well I took the plunge and installed the patch for P3D from 2.3 to 2.4. I have nothing but good news on that so far. I also found out that there were stuttering issues that I was having and that seems to be remedied now with the latest nVidia driver for my Titan card. (344.11)

Other notes is that I'm not seeing the scenery popping so much anymore in the distance. The water anomaly that I had noticed around the water bodies where shadows were showing water then abruptly popping in the ground texture when I arrived closer is also not appearing anymore.

My FPS is set at 30 and it's solid with no microstutters at all and FPS stays at 30. I have no tweaks in my .cfg file.

I'm working with Dex to address some AI Shipping wake waterline issues but other than that, I'm a happy camper.

Yay Patrick!  Glad you fixed it!  (I kinda liked the "fiery red" wake though)  ;)
