Title: Beta Web Page for FSXP3D Libraries
Post by: Doug on June 03, 2014, 12:24:58 PM
BETA Objects Library Page

As you know, we have been spending hours converting and combining libraries to make sure the RTMM site is technically up to date for not only FSX, but FSXDX10 and Prepar3D.  The libraries are almost done and we are now building the web page where you will be able to find the information and download the libraries.

There is a great deal of information about installation, downloading and setup ... also some very detailed "background" information showing the depth of this project. After looking through these, if you have questions, please ask them. We will have a "FAQ" area and perhaps your question and it's answer will go in there. We may add them to the FAQ and build a section that will help many people who might have the same question.

Also, we are being flexible on what sections we will be adding. If there is a section we have left out that you think is important, let us know.

The "page navigation" is the same. When you go far down the page, at the end of each section is a "back to top" button ... click it and you are back up at the index.

Part of our "posture" here at RTMM is to let the people who will be using the site partake in its structure and development.  Here is a chance for you to add your 2 cents worth ... we listen to all good ideas and appreciate them.

Our "beta" area is below "Z" on the Scenery Page ... http://www.return.mistymoorings.com/scenery/#z (http://www.return.mistymoorings.com/scenery/#z)

Update ...

We finally got the Holger Sandmann Seal of Approval on the Scenery Library "placement". This has been a difficult subject for years with FSX, and Holger helped us understand and get the wording correct.  So that section is now correct:

http://www.return.mistymoorings.com/object_libraries_build/#placepriority (http://www.return.mistymoorings.com/object_libraries_build/#placepriority)

We also put in a table on how to "migrate" Tongass X over to Prepar3D.  (Last table at the bottom) but you can quickly get at it in the index at the top.

Again, if you have any comments on this new page ... let us know here on the forum.
