Dunno whether "brace" is the operative collective noun for Beavers, but it'll have to suffice, 'cause I can't think of another.
These are two repaints for the Aerosoft DHC-2 Beaver Amphibian (1), which were originally made for the FS9 float version. So they're a bit of a double conversion, as it were, but I was surprised at how well they converted, and how downright pretty they both look.
The first one is for Taquan Air, which operates out of Ketchikan. Apparently it was at its zenith back in the Nineties, but it's still going strong now. Hence, I figured it'd be a good candidate for us in the RTMM Area of Operations, and it's always nice to have an alternate paint for flying out of PAKT.
The second one's for Tofino Air, obviously based in Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island in Canuckistan, and a nice one for bogging around on the other side of the border. This one's probably my favourite -- not so much due to any patriotism on my part, but simply because the paintwork seems so gorgeous.
In both cases, the actual aerodyne appears much nicer than in the screenies below, methinks.
If anyone's interested, they're both public domain, but I'll need a bit of guidance as to whether it's better to stash them somewhere on the site, or just attach them to return emails for the individuals concerned.
