Reactivating all my RTMM scenery
« on: December 08, 2011, 02:24:40 AM »
Hi all,
After a reinstall of all things FSX, I'm ready to activate all my RTMM sceneries (one at a time).

My question is about the object libraries.  Should I activate all of them first, or does it matter?  I can't see the logic of activating any sceneries before the object libraries.. ex:  Rwy 12, etc

Thanks for any input

Most certainly activate all the libraries and be sure that they remain at the very top of the FSX Scenery Library with all the RTMM folders below them.  Every time you install a new scenery folder it will be at the top and you have to move it down below all the libraries manually.

Work, work, work will it never get done?  After you have it all back in your FSX library remember to add an insertion point using the tool in FTX Central to keep the ORBX/FTX scenery from moving to the top of your FSX library every time you switch from Default to PNW/AU or back.
 :) ;) ;D

Thanks Spud.   I've finally come to grips on how to use the insertion point.  Very handy tool.    I have alll my RTMM sceneries in my Addon Scenery folder but also within there own folder called RTMM.  Each scenery is activated individually so I can trouble shoot if necessary.   Maybe some time I'll creat a master folder and just dump in everything to cut down on the number of entries.  Of course I'll keep all the individual folders in a safe place somewhere just in case!           ;D
