Airport where you can drive down into water?

Is there an airport where you can drive down into water from land, with example the Grumman Goose?

Our flagship field Misty's Place has an area marked by signs along the mid area of the runway.

Ok I will download mistys place and check it out.

Found one at Lake Hood (LHD), next to Stevens Anchorage Intl.

Looking for more.

I thought you were inquiring about strips in RTMM (LOL), there are quite a few FSX wise but I do not have a list or any sort.  Chances are if there is a SPB and land base together then a ramp of some sort will probably be available.

Well, anywhere really.

There is one listed here:

Thumb Harbor (Amphibian Platform)

Gonna download that too and check it out.

At Misty's place, is my scenery correct? It's not much of a ramp, rather 2 signs and you drive down through the grass. Is this correct?

Thumb harbor was waaay to hard to run up the ramp with the Goose.

Absolutely correct.  This is, after all, BUSH Flying at its finest.  ;D

Hummm,

After some new tests, I have decided to do a revised version of Thumb harbour with a smoother ramp, but not soon.

You can try at Sewall PF24, there is a slope from the beach, between the red and white oil drums, the land strip is a little bit short
and also at Victory Valley PF30, between red and white drums, but I haven't test with the Goose, usable with the Kodiak and the Porter floatplane, water line is very short and approach to the river, challenging !

It would be nice to make the ramp both smoother and wider so you don't have to get up exact or you will fall off the edge.

Xavier,
do not know about smoother but it could be less steep.  the C185 Amphib will not climb up the ramp at the moment.  Not enough power, the Beaver will make it but as Zyme says its hard to stay on the dock once you get it up the ramp.

Hi Guy and Zyme,

I'll do another version of the whole platform and ramp.
I've crashed many times with the Kodiak, and it is very hard to drive the Beaver on the dock.

CIRP takes a lot of time, and I had to stop work on a new airfield.
As soon as CIRP will be completed, and my airfield ,  I'll do this new version.

Cheers,

Xavier

No rush Xavier, when you get time and are in the mood.  Even if I can not get the C185 or Maule up the ramp there are too many other locations to visit to worry about rushing to redo the ramp.  As ORBX always says it will be ready when it done!
