New Guy,Where exactly is Misty's Place?

I am a new member and am enjoying this.How do I get to Misty's Place so I can save a flight for future use?Thanks,Ron

Hi Ron ... welcome aboard.

Go to the MAP Room  (You can get there from the home page or from the Library).  Once there look at Misty's Place and you'll see the starting location. If you click on the link for any of the three locations there you will get the same map from PAKT.

Or go to Misty's Place (upper menu) ... look toward the bottom and there's a map of the layout of Misty's Place, click on the map there and it gives you a bigger map including PAKT.

Look at the GPS coordinates there for Misty's Place Ramp
N55 15.81    W131 46.29    062

Now while in FSX, go to MAP view (M).  When it comes up put in those coordinates for the N and W ... then for the heading put in 062.  Click OK and you'll be sitting right there at Misty's pointed the correct direction for takeoff.

All of the ones in the map room give you specific locations so you can start out at a cabin somewhere and be right beside the pier, etc.

if your saying you want to position your airplane at Misty's Place to look it over I'm assuming that you have downloaded and installed the Misty's Place scenery files from the Scenery Download page.  If not then there will be no Misty's Place in your FSX.

Tha t explains it.Thanks.I just installed theORBX PNW,PF and NWR scenery.I have been simming since my old Tandy 1000.This looks like fun.Thanks,Ron
