Norm
Now you mention about falling through the terrain near the fire station, that made me realise that was what happened to me when I mentioned about 'crashing' my beaver whilst taxiing around in a previous post.
Well at least that's cleared that up.
Josh

This isn't what I see with the payware PAKT. With the payware version you actually shouldn't be seeing anything FedEx-wise, as downloaded, because it sits below the terrain level. You must have something else going on somewhere. Make absolutely sure that you have any 3rd party mesh disabled.

I have created a version for the ORBX payware PAKT airport. It's not the same design as the default obviously but it's compatible with the payware airport from ORBX. I've sent it to be tested and once we get the green light, it's going to be included inside the updated FedEx Terminals zipfile (V2).

Stand by for that update release.

The update for the FedEx terminal that fits with the PAKT payware is now available on the scenery page under "F". This update has the existing default version for Ketchikan airport AND the Ketchikan payware update. You can only use ONE of those included files so please read the PAKT Payware installation text file included in the new zip (Version 2) That file will let you know what you have to do if you use the payware PAKT airport or the default airport that came with PFJ.

Doug will be issuing a NOTAM soon.

Enjoy,
Brad

Brad -thank you very much for the quick work but it does not work for me - see attached.
Even the runway has a problem.

I have set the other file to 'off' as per your instructions 'fedex_pakt_v2_1.bgl.off' and PAKT payware is enabled as you can tell from the ship in dry dock in the background.

What am I doing wrong?!?

Regards
Josh

Sorry - forgot to add that as far as I can tell the only difference between using and not using mesh is the trees.
I'm toggling the mesh as Steve seems to think this might be a factor.

Apart from using/not using FS Pilots Next Gen mesh are there any other places where 3rd party mesh might be lurking?

I can finally replicate what you are seeing. There's a "black hole" that you can see or fall into if you slowly slew your aircraft down the side of the hill at N55° 21.119066' W131° 42.250450' alt 82' at 317 degrees. It's in a really narrow window and seen at an angle when viewed below your aircraft. There's also a "porthole" that you can enter into the black hole that I've stumbled upon a couple of times at  N55° 21.156091'  W131° 42.304641' alt 6' heading 219. There may be other port holes too. It's an ORBX thing, due to the way they created the sloping runway, roads and patways.

Try moving your aircraft to the main runway, or just slew up out of the black hole and all looks OK. That works for me.

Gentlemen

Everything is fine!!
I moved to the runway as suggested by Steve and I can now see Brad's handiwork in all its glory.
Thank you so much.

Josh

FYI,

I fell into that hole as well when I was placing the new objects and had to elevate each of those objects accordingly to make them show up above the drop off point below. Again, this is a unique payware airport from ORBX and uses a system that is very different from the norm. So, these things are going to present themselves obviously. So you have to try the workaround.

I was able to taxi from the end of the runway and stop over by the small office I placed so there is a solid area that will work.

Brad
Seeing objects above me made me think they were floating above me, I had no idea that in fact it was me under them. Being a flightsimmer is certainly a 'live and learn' experience.

Thanks again for sorting it out.

Josh.
